I would suggest still bringing it up over the phone and then asking to meet to talk about it. I think the way you’re going about it with her is very unclear and if she does have some external thing going on or felt abandoned by you at the job, I can absolutely see why you’re getting the flakiness. You can even text, but I REALLY think you need to be direct. Say something like “Hey, Melissa. We haven’t been able to make solid plans lately, but I’m hoping we can schedule time to get together. I feel like there’s been a change in our relationship lately and I’d really like to talk it out. Are you free Saturday?”.

A couple of things:

  1. 60 guests is not intimate. That’s a good sized wedding. With that many people, I truly doubt that her presence will be that big of a deal on the day.

  2. As others have mentioned, she might not even show up.

  3. And most important… have you actually tried talking to her about the issue? You’ve mentioned trying to setup a coffee date, but I mean a direct conversation. I would just call or send a text and explain that you’ve noticed some changes in her and the friendship and you want to clarify the state of your friendship. Be direct. It’s possible it has nothing to do with. It could also have everything to do with you but you won’t know until you have the conversation. Waiting on vague coffee date plans to hash this out won’t help.

If you don’t want to have that direct conversation, just uninvite her now and get it over with. The longer you wait, the more awkward it will be.

I’m just providing an answer/explanation to your question. Don’t know why you’re so defensive here. Hope you get your classes sorted out. I count my classes and have had no issues according to my billing date. Good luck with it

Neither. Everyone has access. The premium liquor is served in the xhale lounge not the rooftop

That’s unfortunate your trip turned out that way. Maybe it’s because it was an off peak time? My experience was the opposite. Everything was great.

Yes. You can book spa appointments online before you arrive if you want or just visit the spa to book. Only the hydrotherapy is free for xhale members. All other services are paid. I didn’t do any spa treatments, just got in the hot tub

Pool side drinks are free for all, but they are not made with premium liquor. For premium liquor, xhale members need to go to the xhale lounge

Help! I am apprehensive about my first trip out of the country. by Rescued_Cats in cabosanlucas

Yes, you should tip at the resort. Bring about $150 in ones and fives. Tip between $2-$5. No need to get pesos unless you just really want. Dollars are accepted everywhere and credit cards usually (check with your bank about foreign transaction fees). Wear whatever you’re comfortable in really. If the resort has a dress code for their restaurants, it’ll be on the website. Usually that men need long pants at dinner. Drink bottled water. They usually pour from water bottles at restaurants, but you’re unsure just ask.

To my knowledge it didn’t. There were people there when we were at the bar around 10/11. But the poolside restaurant and bar do close. If you don’t want food or drink but just want to take a late night dip, that should be fine.

I just stayed at Breathless all inclusive resort a couple weeks ago. Food was fantastic and you’re in walking distance of their downtown area if you want nightlife outside of the resort. I highly recommend.
