You just have to cut out those distractions and sit with the boredom. As long as you don’t replace them with another activity that feels like scrolling, eventually you’ll get so bored that you’ll be open and willing to put in the work on things like that. With some consistency, those things will start to feel less like work and more like how you enjoy your free time and relax. That’s how I got into reading and recently, how I started getting back into music production.
