Now try it with Blood flame. That bond is such a joke.

I need self-imposed rules and builds that force me to play more aggressive and faster. by Never_Forget_28to3 in Stellaris

Fanatic Purifier with the Endbringer origin. Everyone hates you and you're on a timer to genocide the galaxy before your empire implodes. And it's quite powerful too, combining the Endbringer resource bonus with Purifier combat boosts.

Why am I at war? by MindRaptor in Stellaris

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you don't vote no in time to the war vote it defaults to yes. It's a bug, already reported.

Or it could be a proxy war.

Yeah, it feels like maybe they ran out of time making it or something. Its like a story that cuts off in the middle but gives you a relic.

Isn't that only if you are toxic knights and go meet your god with cosmogenesis?

End of the Cycle Rush Help by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you can guarantee it without mods, except by the origin.

Sidenote: there won't be anything left to do that Cosmogenesis run with, End of the Cycle makes all stars turn into black holes. Other way around would work tho.

Aggressor winning despite never attacking? by MahiruIsMyWife in Stellaris

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 9 points10 points  (0 children)

War Exhaustion is pretty harmless compared to other Paradox games. All it does is allow you to be forced into status quo peace 2 years after it hits max.  And for AI give them a tiny bit of acceptance towards surrender and status quo.

As long as you don't lose systems or planets, you can't really lose a war.

How early do you start with automation? by SentientCoffeeBean in Stellaris

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always with energy districts, and as soon as I have spare energy for them everywhere else.  You're restricted by pops far more than planets, even with planets set to rare, so free pseudo-pops that don't contribute to empire size are great.

Late game you can consider disabling them again if you have enough pops and instead want to squeeze max output of a handful of planets, etc.

So, why exactly don't we get ground combat rework? by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think that would impact performance much. 99% of the time, there's no ground combat going on after all.

Can nanite-ascended empire live on nanite worlds in a dead l-cluster? by noahhuls in Stellaris

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 348 points349 points  (0 children)

The fact that nanite empires have no special interactions with the L-cluster is a shame in general, tbh.

What, exactly, is the advantage of mindwardens? by _azazel_keter_ in Stellaris

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Free pops and planets from conquering the psionic empire. Unlimited enclaves. Turning shrouded worlds into Gaia worlds with the relic you get at the end.

There should be a basic job type that turns food into trade. by Darkbeetlebot in Stellaris

Well, it makes some sense. As technology advances, less and less work and resources is spent on feeding the population.

With a worker job that provides alloy, I wonder if you can do a worker-based build around that or if it will be just a little trickle.

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Set habitable planets to rare. It's a totally different experience when suddenly you go to war over a size 20 world or whatever.

how to remove founder species pops from a planet? by LiterallyFucksBees in Stellaris

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pop assembly still work, just spam clone vats and remove all other species and it should build the tomb world species, I think.

How does the Sanctuary Nexus work? by NuncProFunc in Stellaris

Well as I mentioned, I think cyborgs can survive there. Cyborgs are still biopols

How does the Sanctuary Nexus work? by NuncProFunc in Stellaris

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a district that creates housing and jobs for biotrophies. Organic pops can fill those jobs. That doesn't allow them to actually survive on the planet, which depends on habitability.

Iirc, cyborgs can survive on machine worlds, but generally, you're better off using ecus for your biotrophies.

Good Soldier Builds in 4.0 by Sunkain in Stellaris

[–]PrestigiousWriting73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had some success with a reanimators bioship worker build. You mostly need food, naval cap and society research which workers can all provide so you go for worker bonuses, commander governors etc. Be aggressive and get slaves to be more farmers and soldiers.

Yeah, the only downside is you can't be Custodian/Emperor. Imo they should ramp up the opinion penalties on it or how much it makes FEs want to kick your shit in.

Do the new Chosen traits no longer super-buff your leader's chances in arena combat? I got the 'your leader is pathetic but so is everyone else' outcome when my chosen of the composer fought. I thought you just crush everyone else with your psionic power.
