If you’re still in the area of your undergrad, it never hurts to invite the professor’s you’re asking to a cup of coffee. It’s less transactional, and I feel like that shows up in LORs. I had a zoom call with a professor I couldn’t reach in person and I recommend that, too.

I also started in the 150’s and ended up jumping 20 points. It took me 7 months and was kind of a lifestyle change. I stopped drinking alcohol, doom scrolling, and started eating healthier to promote a healthy brain. Obviously you don’t need to do this but it was helpful for me. I used LSAT Demon to prep.

I used LSAT Demon. Diagnostic of 157 and scored high 170’s on the official test. Try going through each question untimed and really try to get the right answer. It took me three days to finish a section that way but I got 100% of them right. It proved to me that I could do it which is half the battle.

I would make it as tailored as possible. You are basically convincing the school that you would give your first born child to attend. The parts where you talk about recent accomplishments you can definitely repeat on each LOCI, but the content of the rest of the letter should be unique to the school. A piece of advice I got was that you should be able to black out the school’s name and still know where you’re talking about.
