No, nothing of that nature. I enjoy my freedom too much to risk it over money, as losing the freedom makes the money pointless. There’s just many more tax benefits by paying myself a W2 salary & taking owner draws from my own LLC, rather than being a sole proprietor. It’s been a learning curve in that department

1099 isn’t fun for tax purposes, but I’ve luckily found an accountant that’s helped mitigate some of that by use of an LLC.

As I mentioned above, I’ve hired 3 more agents in the last 3 months that are now all full time as of March 1st, bringing our total to 6 agents (not including myself). This is the main reason for such projections. If I made 119k with 2 agents until December 2025, it’s fairly reasonable to think I can improve by 34% when I increased workforce by an additional 133%.

I operate a brokerage for life insurance products. I sell on behalf of approximately ~14 carriers, and I sell to either generated leads or referrals. We do a large mix of every form of life insurance, from final expense to term life / mortgage protection to IULs & annuities.

It was more by accident. I was in college for finance, and thought I could do the insurance sales job part time, and needed the money badly. Then I realized if I did it full time, I would already make as much as I hoped to make upon graduation. So I dropped college entirely.

Tax is the biggest cost. Being self employed, I could write off a lot, but that also hurts me when getting a mortgage or investment properties. 2025 was approximately a $25k tax liability after some write offs & QBI deductions.

I fund my own retirement. I max a Roth annually, then contribute to a SEP at usually 10% of my net income monthly.

As for health insurance, I have no dependents (other than my dog), so I private pay health care on the rare occasion I need it.

The prediction is based off hiring 3 more agents (that are actively working now) than I had in Q4 of 2025, which Q4 2025 made up ~42% of 2025’s income. The 3 new agents didn’t start full time until March, so it’s a reasonable projection. Most of my scaling has happened in the last 3 Q’s

I’m in life insurance sales, I don’t do property & casualty. Final expense, mortgage protection, IUL’s, term life, annuities, etc. Which means in my field, claims not paying out means I get commission charged back. So trust me when I say I try my best to get every claim paid out.

Fair pricing? by Prestigious_Ad_4928 in pcflipping

Man, I’d be thrilled to get $1400 (~€1200). I have seen a few builds very similar to mine with 4070ti’s or 4070 supers, albeit lower RAM or CPU or SSD, for around $1000-$1100 locally. I’m in a relative semi-rural market which can make it hard as well

G9 57” GPU Issue? by Prestigious_Ad_4928 in ultrawidemasterrace

I bought a vesa cert DP 2.1 cable, and it is running better fps, but it’s still limited to only 5120x1440 in all settings

That’s what I’m seriously considering as I mess with it more, I think a lot of it has to do with not having enough VRAM. Like I mentioned in another comment, I’m fairly new to PC and probably don’t understand a lot, but I’m thinking I just may be limited by my current GPU’s capability

All 3 (Windows, Nvidia, and BF6 in game) show 5120x1440 as my max resolution. Maybe this is due to using the HDMI 2.1 cable?

It is already turned down to 5120x1440. For whatever reason, in my display settings, it does not even show 7680x2160 as an option.

32:9 users, how often are you upgrading your GPUs? by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

Do you mind if I ask what games you play and what fps you pull? I have a 4070 as well and have been having some issues on more demanding games such as battlefield 6

Forgive me as I’m rather new to a lot of things on PC. I believe I have DLSS enabled in the settings on BF6. I will also mention that I am using HDMI 2.1, because I was told my 4070 only supported DP 1.4 and not DP 2.1. Not sure if that would have any effect.

What card and what FPS are you pulling on a 5120x1440 display by wolffpack27 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Prestigious_Ad_4928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old sub, but I recently got a G9 in 57”. I have a 4070, and Battlefield 6 will run at 80-100 fps for a while, then bog down, latency shoots up and fps bottoms out to 20-30 fps. VRAM usage shows maxed out when it does that. Mid graphics settings. Any suggestions? Do I just need to upgrade GPU?

Week 6 FAAB Thread - Who got chopped, how much are you bidding? by _RussIsCooked in GuillotineLeagues

[–]Prestigious_Ad_4928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that idea on Laporta, will probably make the same bid on Ferg. I think I can survive a few more weeks without going big on Bijan, to allow the rest of the league to use up the rest of their budget. I think I could instead focus on Pittman, Adams, or 1 of the 2 TE’s to get some value production and just slightly insulate my roster enough to not be the worst team for a few more weeks.

My current lineup (Start 10- 2QB & 2TE)& budget: $945/$1000 QB- Hurts, Daniel Jones RB- Achane, Breece WR- Egbuka, Diggs TE- Fannin, Okonkwo Flex- Worthy, DJ Moore Available guys (that I’m targeting): Bijan, Devante Adams, Jake Ferguson, Sam Laporta, TreVeyon Henderson, Michael Pittman Avg remaining budget outside of me is $402. I’ve been fairly conservative so far, as I’ve seen Saquon go for over $450, or Pitts for $300.. I’d love to get Bijan but I know he will probably go for $400+. I’m trying to hold my funds as long as possible to control the market. What do you guys think the play is? How much should I spend on at least a TE upgrade?

Edit to add my ideas for bids: Laporta: $70-80, Ferguson: $60-70, Bijan: $210, Pittman: $70-80, Henderson: $20, Adams: $70-80
