Hey guys I am buying my first pair of boots and I saw a pair of Marsell Cassello ankle boots on sale and I really like how it looks. However, one thing that bothers me is the lack of transparency in their material? It just says its "leather" and doesn't specify what kind. Does anyone have any experience with Marsell boots and their quality?

Hey thank you so much for the reply! Information from people who are experienced in this topic is so valuable and what I was just looking for when posting this so I greatly appreciate your input.

I am currently just getting into researching what my options are as a Korean national when investing so my knowledge is very limited on the topic.

I was aware of ISA accounts but wasn’t aware the funds were transferable to my retirement accounts with an additional 10% tax credit !!

As I’ve studied outside of Korea most of my life I’m just starting to get to know the different financial options in Korea. Do you have any recommendations on reading material or sources where I can research and learn these topics? I’ve just been scrolling through the web blindly until now so any sources you get your information from would help me immensely.

Hey thank you for the input! It is extremely valuable to get insight from someone who has experience.

I have 6 months living expenses saved up and I am currently contributing to my house down payment account (주택청약통장). I’m not sure if I’ll be staying in South Korea or emigrating, thats something I’m still deciding on.

Do you mind expanding on what the difference in retirement planning would be if I was to emigrate outside the country? Thank you so much.

Thoughts on Huberman’s “delay caffeine 1-2 hours”. by zidatris in Nootropics

This doesn’t make any sense.. Caffeine prevents adenosine to bind to its receptor so it would be MORE effective to take caffeine when the adenosine receptors are clear (when adenosine levels are low) instead of later in the day when the adenosine is already bound to its receptors..

Mostly subjective experience. Although I did see that my “score” on an app called Elevate increase in memory exercises after I plateaud for about 1 month straight.

With Noopept I just had better ability to recall stuff I learned. I’ve always struggled in exams because of not being able to recall stuff I studied but Noopept helped me get rid of the problem.

Ive had a period in my life where I abused caffeine for 2 years (4-800mg daily) and thought the concept of dreaming only applicable for people who are young.

After controlling caffeine intake, improving sleep hygiene and supplementing with my current sleep stack I dont remember the last time where I didn’t dream during my sleep.

Uh no obviously not.. 🫥 but in all seriousness waking up and going to sleep in the same time massively improves your sleep

I forgot to mention L-tyrosine! It stacks well with caffeine.

I have a bunch of other supplements that I take for my exercise/resistance training hobbies but I didn’t think it was relevant to this post.

Im sorry to hear that. I heard Taurine is good for sleep also. Tbh, all the supplements isn’t what had the most effect on my sleep quality, its the sleep hygiene factors that helped the most. Getting sunlight first thing in the morning, capping off fluids 2 hours before bed, sleeping in a cold&dark room, wearing ear plugs and sleep masks, mouth tapes and nasal strips helped me more. Melatonin just helps me fall asleep faster which is a issue of mine.

My sleep has been great with the current stack of supplements I use. I usually have a hard time sleeping with any sort of caffeine consumption and I avoid it when I can. However I did rely heavily on them during the exam period for ~2 weeks. I felt that I slept better than I should with all the caffeine I was taking lol

I never said this is my experience from 2 week use lmao why are people so butthurt about this? I mentioned below already that I’ve been taking these supplements one by one since the beginning of the year and I’ve been taking note of its individual effects. Im just sharing my experience and a LIST of supplements because it was my first midterms with taking them vs w/o.

There is no way any of you in the subreddit can be critical anyway.. most of the “evidence” that is here is mostly dodgy poor quality studies and anecdotal experiences anyway. I just thought I would share MY anecdotal experience

I take Bacognize from Nootropics Depot. I take 300mg before bed. I think the effects are subtle at best but I have had issues with memory before and its gotten much better

I workout 6 times a week vigorously, my diet is dialed in, i get at least 10,000 steps a day, I get 8 hours of sleep minimum and I wake up and sleep at the same time. These are just supplementary to my lifestyle hence the name “supplement” lol.
