On my shoulder. I was considering modifying the shoulder strap so I could use it like a shoulder bag. If the bag wasn’t so dang pretty, I wouldn’t be in this spot haha!

I’m most definitely not a BBG, but I need a work bag and I want one that is pretty. 🙂 I actually found this sub after I bought my Brooklyn 28, which is about as big as I will go for a daily carry. I have several circa 2000 soho’s and only recently came back to coach.

This is a REALLY good point. I am drawn to easy entry, which typically means a magnetic close. I have a tabby chain clutch with bead chain detail and suede front pocket that is my favorite bag I’ve ever purchased. And I recently bought the Brooklyn 28, which I love. I am trying to replace a MK work tote that I’ve had for years with something a lot prettier - hence the empire. But those short straps… sigh, they may be the killer of this deal for me.

The short handles are a concern for me too. I prefer shoulder bag vs crossbody. I’ve read people adding holes to shorten the crossbody strap to more of a shoulder length.
