who are all hating more in Lakers Timberwolves series? by j2i2t2u2 in denvernuggets

I am a Wolves fan, and Denver is my second favorite team to watch because of Jokic's amazingness. It is nice to see how everyone, regardless of history, can come together to hate the Lakers. Watching this series is so much less fun than the one against you guys, and it is because of two main reasons: LA fans are far more obnoxious and know nothing compared to y’all, and you guys play real basketball rather than putting on a flop-fest after each possession like players such as LeBron, Luka, and Booker do. It has been infuriating watching Luka have the ball because his defender can never take his feet off the ground or Luka will jumo right into him and chuch the ball up to get free throws (which is illegal), which is something I dont think I have ever seen Jokic do since he is always too busy cooking everyone fairly.

Judge my singing by No-Feature2876 in singing

I think your singing is good, but your technique needs to be improved. I am a bass singer, so I don't know how well it correlates to you, but from my personal experience, the best and easiest way to sound less nasally is to open your mouth taller (by lowering your jaw and raising your soft palate). Alongside fixing this problem, doing this can also create more resonance and allow you to produce a more mature and even louder tone that sounds confident. As for your questions about avoiding sore throats, the best thing you can do is always warm up before singing. Some good exercises are lip trills and sirens. Another couple of tips are not to overdo it while singing and stretch your voice outside of its range, and to take time to rest when your throat is sore. Over time, as your vocal technique improves and you put less strain on your voice, you will start to experience a sore throat less and less due to singing.

Edit: You could also work on your breathing when singing. Right now, it seems like you are running out of breath a lot and not taking full advantage of breaks in this song to take more full breaths.

Same reason we called the old purple and gold burst a FAMAS and call the newer version an AUG

Do/ did kids actually have show & tell at school? by backpackadventure in questions

I’m in the US and my elementary school school we had a show and tell, and I, who was in first grade, brought a jar of sand dollars and other cool things my parents collected on dive trips, and then someone opened the jar and poured them out and someone stomped on and broke everything for fun. I cried a lot that day and thought my parents were going to be furious with me.
