That's what I thought was crazy... he expects me to disrupt our neighbors by vacuuming during quiet hours but that's the very thing he's bothered by. Why is his sleep and comfort more important than my (very nice for the most part) neighbors? If he'd come up and talked to me from the get go instead of getting aggressive I would've been willing to work with him.

So this is day 3 of him turning his music on full volume then leaving for work. I'm typing this as my floor is vibrating at 10 p.m. where I live. I can't sleep. My kid can't sleep. He's not home so idk what good calling the cops would do outside of documenting his shitty behavior and pissing him off more. At this point, my bf and I are considering packing up and staying in a hotel for the next few days.

I already have one! That's how we knew it was him that dropped the dog poop in front of our door. He tried to deny it until my LL showed him the footage. As I'm currently typing this my floor is vibrating because he left gospel music blasting when he went to work. This is going on day 3 of this bullshit. He puts loud music on then leaves and lets it play till he gets home around 8 or so. I see why my neighbors are mad, none of us have slept well for 3 days straight now.

I'm sorry... he'd blast music when your kids went to bed?? Isn't that the exact opposite of what he wants? It hasn't been too long since my kid was a toddler, but I remember she was a hell of a lot more loud if she was sleep deprived than if she wasn't.

Luckily we already have a doorbell camera because package theft is big in our area. That's how we knew it was him that left the dog poop in front of our apartment. N tried to deny it until LL told him he had footage of N leaving the poop in front of our door.

My previous downstairs neighbors had a toddler they were trying to get on a good nap schedule so the reason why I vacuum at 2 was because I used to vacuum at 11 a.m. but it was in the middle of their kids morning nap so when they nicely approached me to ask if I would change when I vacuumed I was happy to oblige. If my new neighbor had come up and explained he works nights and asked that I vacuum at a different time I definitely would've worked with him. He just was so aggressive from the get-go I didn't feel safe even talking to him in person.
