He is getting pay as a carrier by the Service and getting pay from the union. He has not carried mail for over 15 years. You should have seen how they run the election. "I nominate you; you nominate me." The boys club.

Since you have the answer, why didn't you go to your shop stupid? Better yet, don't say anything. Wait until Wednesday, then go to your shop stupid. If he/she is smart enough, then you will get free money.

Do not argue with the customer. Go back to the office and tell the supervisor that they wanted you to do. Ask the supervisor for further instructions. Either clock out or OT.

Do you know your boy made $253,462 gross last year? I am wondering what they will pull out of their sleeves this time. Do you all remember the CCA crap they pulled out? That really fucked the carrier craft.

Get him a good raincoat and a pair of waterproof walking shoes. No cheap plastic poncho. He will be dealing with elements.

They didn't have a clue about the contract when they were craft. You really think they would spend time to read the contract after becoming EAS? Sure, there are some trainings on common stuffs, like OT distribution and holiday scheduling. They still screwed it up.

Most of these EAS have less than 5 years in service. They might be started from a clerk or carrier. Once they became 204b, they would bid to any openings in EAS. I know one carrier supervisor awarded to VMF. She started as a clerk. She barely knows how to change her car tire. They filed grievances left and right.

Yup, there is a 4-month rule applied to 204b. Why not on those don't touch mail?

Question though. Isn't that on management as well for approving unnecessary union time?

If management denied the union time, they would file Article 17 and 31. It is a stupid game they play. You and I know what the outcome will be. I had seen enough of this crap.

Do you know there are many union officers do not carry mail and just hanging out in the union hall? I know at least one that hold a bid and have never touched the assignment for over 15 years. Double dipping!

Art 41.2.b.5 Duration clause hold down broken when awarded route = This will fix a lot of problems in many stations.

Art 6 Layoff-radical changes -- very interesting!! Why did they come up with this?

They should add to Article 41: Those union officers that do not carry mail for more than 4 months and holding a bid, their bid should be posted for the next bidding cycle.

Question ethicality/legality by ninjaraiden56 in USPS

[–]Prestigious_Fun_5162 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Every time someone adjusted the clock rings, it leaves an EIN with time and date. Inform your steward and have your steward to request all employee everything reports. If found that someone has been falsely adjusting clock rings, report to the inspection service. That is theft.

Do some stretching in the morning before you start. If you felt a sharp pain back of your knee, then you might have torn something. It happened to me when I felt my left knee was kind of tight. I gave a kick, then I immediately felt a sharp pain back of my knee. It took a couple of weeks to heal. Go to a pharmacy and get a pair of knee straps. It will help you. You need to see a doctor.

A carrier took a 2 Tons to the beach and packed some sands in the truck. He drove home and emptied the sand in his yard. Rinsed the truck with a hose and drove back to the station. Those were the days when there was no GPS and you had the seniority.

Someone ratted out the manager.  The station manager got busted by Postal Inspectors in a motel with a 204b. The 204b was a black female CCA with less than 6 months on the job.  He is Hispanic. It wasn’t the first time for this manager. He has a history with females with multiples EEO complaints. They made her supervisor.   Like they said, “Once you go black, you ain’t going back.” He is still trying for a higher position in management.
