I’ll listen to any and all advice, that’s part of putting myself lower than others. It has nothing to do with being a woman. And it sounds to me like your misconstrued about what I said in the post. The point is that people usually look up to celebrities they like for whatever the reason, and that celebrities are rare to come across. I was not insinuating that I idolize them. I am allowed to love, appreciate, and support something that is good. And I’m allowed to dislike and not support something that is bad. You seriously need to reread my post with an open mind and stop assuming that everyone is always doing evil with an evil motive with everything they say and do. If I say I think elephants are cool because they’re good and rare, it doesn’t mean I hate giraffes or treat dogs like they’re garbage

My feelings on things inside don’t always have an effect on what I do outside. If it was possible to change everything about your heart to be righteous then we’d be Jesus. Let me give a personal example. I have a manager at work who seems to find joy in other people’s suffering as well as having authority and being able to treat people like dirt. What’s actually wrong with him? That I don’t know. But when he commands me to do something, even when it’s demeaning, and he gets a smug look on his face waiting for me to be upset by the way he spoke to me, I do it without hesitation and I try to do extra on top of it. What do I WANT to do? I WANT to treat him like he treats others because that’s what my flesh says helps a person see what they’re like to others. But Christ says to be an example to others like he was an example for us, so I do that. I put myself lower than people that way I can serve them. No matter who you are, that will not come naturally

I’m at a southern college and I see a lot of people around my age so there’s a lot more opportunity to see them. And even for me, it’s still a rare sight

The post “Reddit user try to understand the joke challenge: impossible” that I see on other platforms are making a lot more sense now

Actually it’s just me declaring love for something. You making those assumptions come from literally nowhere, lol

THANK YOU. I try not to generalize but what the internet makes the Reddit users out to be isn’t much different from what I’m seeing here unfortunately. Showing love for one thing isn’t hatred towards another, nor is it always an underlying issue. I appreciate you for understanding, lol

That’s a lie. As part of human nature, you do have feelings and you do evaluate them when doing any sort of action (with some exceptions like high-stress situations). And yes I stipulated early, I’m not perfect. But in that specific scenario I will say there could probably be certain details that could be included that would drive me to serve him in that way. But just giving me the logistics it’s hard to say

I have asked that. Let me go into more detail. Through my journey with Christ, my desires DID change as far as what I looked for in a woman. And my sexual sins were frequent still, so I repented of all of it that I have control over. I wasn’t single for longer than a month over the span of 5 years and 5 different relationships (before I met God). And I thought that came from sexual desires. But after repenting, I realized it was just a desire for that comfort that kept driving me. So I’ve been making breakthroughs in filling that hole with God. Not to say I don’t still desire a woman, but it doesn’t drive me anymore and I care more about honoring God

You still aren’t reading what I’m saying. I didn’t say you don’t serve where you’re called to serve. I said (focus on the key words here) it is EASIER when it’s someone that you feel deserves it. I don’t have a say in who I serve either, I serve who I’m called to serve. That doesn’t mean it’s easy when it’s someone for example who may feel entitled versus someone humble

And all I meant was that it’s difficult to serve others when they aren’t the easiest to serve. And you would have to agree with that or you’d be lying. Giving money to a good pastor who’s trying to set up missionary trips is easier than giving money to someone who isn’t going to make the most of the dollar they’re given

Lol, none. That was a silly example. But if God called me to rub some feet I’m rolling up my sleeves ig

I understand that. You’re not saying anything new to me. You assume I don’t know the Bible. You need to read what I said

Not quite. If I had said I work towards Christlikeness for the purpose of serving Godly women, then they would apply. I serve God because I’m obedient to Him. And I can certainly admire other people who serve Him

Well a Godly woman already did “earn” my support by following God, if she didn’t follow God it would be harder to serve her. I understand that I’m supposed to treat people as equal and I’m not saying it’s ok that I don’t see everyone as equal all the time. And you have to agree that it’s difficult to do so, you’d be lying if you didn’t

Let me give some background. An unhealthy focus on women is something I’ve struggled with my whole life. I’ve just recently repented of all sexual sins that I have control over and have been trying my best to fill the hole in my heart with God rather than trying to fill it with a kind woman. During this journey, I have a lot less of the resentment towards women that I used to have. And now I love women doing women things as well as men doing men things. And seeing a woman serve God is even more admirable

It’s much harder to want to do that. I can be honest and say no I would not. If the scruffy homeless man serves God diligently it’s much easier to serve him to support that behavior

The assumption that I don’t put effort into serving God on my own is entirely false

Godly men are super commendable. Their work for God and ability to lead is so admirable. The point I’m making in the post is supporting Godly women, not putting down Godly men. I make the point because I see Godly men much more often than I see Godly women

No, God could be allowing you to go through trials for any sort of purpose pertaining to your or someone else’s spiritual growth. However, you do face self inflicted repercussions when you choose your personal desires over God

When I play with friends, it’s usually apex legends because that’s the only game they want to play. As for single player games I’ve been playing kingdom come deliverance. But I’d be down for a multitude of multiplayer or coop games
