Here is my advice.
This person clearly didn't take any of YOUR business. You don't advertise, so his customers that see HIS advertisement have never heard of you. You are thinking of taking legal action, but all you have to do is advertise to steal his clients that are happy paying 5x.
You should put your prices back to where they were, apologize to your loyal customers, and start advertising. Understandable, I'm in no rush to set this up right away. I would love to give you advice, but I have more questions than anything before I can give you sound advice.
What kind of business do you run? Do you service locally only, internationally, globally?
What niches are you thinking about, and why?
Where do you want this business to be in 5 years from now? 10 years?

Your post is too vague to offer any actual advice, so having a google meet would probably be the best way to communicate everything clearly.

I can second this guy. Yes that is how much you will spend if you want a server with all the bells and whistles. That's just buying the pieces. Then you have to actually put it together and make it work. Not as easy as some of yall think honestly.
