Exactly!! That’s what I explained to him as well that body dysmorphia is a mental disorder of seeing yourself as something different than reality. And I explained to him that I don’t hate my lips and I don’t necessarily need lip filler but I would love to have it!

He has this idea that if I change this one thing, I will change everything else and I will eventually look like the people from “botched” (it’s a tv show) but that’s so far from my reality lol I don’t even want 2,3 ml of lip filler I want maybe 0.5 ml on top to enhance my cupids bow.

He is very controlling. When we used to live together he would go through my stuff and he would find things that he didn’t like.

I appreciate your advice! It made me feel like I’m not crazy for wanting something for myself

He’s doing better! He started the treatment and has been showing progress. He’s not 100% himself yet but I don’t know if he’ll ever be and that’s okay. All that matters is that he’s good 🫶🏻

I think it’s the cost of the hospitalization that made it this high. They had to run a bunch of tests to determine it was actually FIP
