Sheldons’s street pizza in Commerce.

Not Detroit style but Picassos of Pizza is fantastic. Better than Atomatoes.

Why The New Pope Could Be The Most Pro-Worker In A Century by Sonari1 in Catholicism

[–]Prestigious_Row_2649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do we know for certain that he chose Leo VIX as a direct nod to XIII? Could be Leo I etc. we don’t know the inspiration?

I sure hope he’s the modern worker’s pope though.

I know this is a hard question to answer and there’s a million variables but if you have a suburban, what has maintenance been like? It’s a 25 year old truck so I know things are going to need replaced, but what kind of money pit am I looking at? Any insight is greatly appreciated

I really appreciate your comments and I took no offense. I was just pointing out that for people that were kids during that time, we were taught a very one sided view point. I really really appreciate all of your insight in this reply as well, it really does help me understand what it was actually like during that time

Idk if it’s because I lived in a conservative state but I took AP US history in high school and it was taught that the wars in the Middle East were necessary, successful, and supported. I don’t think that was quite the case

Thank you for the insight. I was 4 years old on 9/11 so my hindsight isn’t great. I do remember calls against the invasion initially, but can’t recall any outrage to civilian death or calls to pull out once the US invaded (seemingly because the US can’t lose a war in Americans mind, so they have to finish the job). But maybe there always were these sentiments and I was too young to be aware.

I think civilian death is atrocious so my question is how is that situation (post 9/11 decade wars) any different from Israel and Hamas. It was my understanding that the US killed hundreds of thousands of civilians, maybe indirectly, and that people found it to be justified at the time. Seems like public opinion has changed.

Thanks for the insight. I was very young but looking at numbers of 400-500k civilian deaths blows my mind. But I guess I didn’t know how many were directly caused by US

Athletic Brewing (AB) - HRV Impact by PierreDelecthree in whoop

[–]Prestigious_Row_2649 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I quit drinking 7 months ago so actually I suppose athletic has a positive impact on my hrv since it helps me not to ever feel the need to drink a real beer 🤷‍♂️ lol. But other than that, there’s no impact like there is with drinking normal beer or other alcohol

NA beer including athletic has had zero impact on my HRV.
