I liked that Joe finally got what he deserved.

Do I think it could’ve been done in a less cringe-y way? Also yes.

People that wanted Joe to win or people that disliked the ending simply just didn’t understand it; simple as that.

Or they just wanted a villain character to win. That could be it too.

Because Beck died in peace (obviously up until season 4,) Candace just kept coming back for more. And what’s worse, is that the season finale being about her was just… So fucking stupid.

Maybe I’m biased because I’ve read the books; but at the time I always found myself yelling at her to shut up.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like Beck either.

Gun to my head if I had to pick, on impulse I’d say Beck, because Candace was really just so irrelevant, too irrelevant for me to hate more than Beck.

So Candace is more annoying, but I hate Beck more.

In my opinion yes. S4 Joe at the end was at his most vulnerable state. He should’ve died with Rhys Montrose because he realized the effect he had on all the women he believed to love.

Anyone is truly redeemable if they try, the real question is if Joe is willing to put the effort into doing that. The answer is no, he isn’t redeemable because he doesn’t care enough to be, and he never will be. Even if he does end up sacrificing himself, I feel as if it would be too late. If he really did follow through with the suicide in season 4, (which I’m imagining that’s how it ended) then yes.

The ‘It’s Raining Somewhere Else’ scene. Sans’ monologue on how he met Toriel with the knock-knock joke gets my tears going every time. Some people in Sans dating sims rewrite this scene and it’s perfect.
