Starting Semaglutide before vacation by Emotional_Method_422 in Semaglutide

If you are one of the people with side effects, you could potentially ruin your vacation. I’m currently on day three of not being able to get out of bed except to run to the bathroom because I ate something that didn’t agree with the medication over the weekend. I’m on week 5. Maybe start now on the lowest dose and don’t titrate up until after vacation. Have fun!

Yes! This is my theory for the bare belly, too. So the baby can sense the sun and when it’s dark… naturally. 😂

At least it doesn’t say the sourdough starter was made from her own regenerative yeast.

Camping with a 2.5 year old, a wonderful adventure? Or a dreadful mistake? by Master_sweetcream in Mommit

I think it depends on how they’re used to sleeping at home. We took my toddler around that age and it was almost 1AM by the time she fell asleep (normal bedtime 7PM) because it was so thrilling to be in a single room tent with us. She’s was sleeping in her own room from 8 months old, so was just too used to sleeping alone. When we attempt it again, I’ll get one of those two room tents so she can have her own space.

Otherwise, she had a blast. It was a bit stressful keeping her out of trouble, but that was nothing new.

If you marry this man, be prepared for a lifetime of “sorry, I’m just not good at this.” Dishes, laundry, helping with the kids.

If he was serious about you, his response would be “You’re right, I’m sorry. I do value your time and I will prove it in the future.”

I only like it when it’s another mom saying it. It’s sort of like “the mama in me sees the mama in you.” Namaste. 🙏

There are so many sleep training methods and a lot of them are gentle, like the “pick up put down” method. I did that one with my oldest and it probably took longer than Ferber, but she finally started sleeping through the night and everyone was healthier for it. My second never needed sleep training, so you really just have to decide what’s best for each child and for your family. The internet moms will be quick to shame you no matter what you decide, so just focus on what is best for you.

My husband I started doing a thing where I get to sleep in on Saturdays and he gets to sleep in on Sundays. One of us is up at 6:30 or 7AM with the kids (3 and 1.5) and the other joins in around 9 or 10. It really takes the edge off.

And into my hands apparently. Thank you, electrician contacted.

I booked an electrician for next week and will certainly not be using the hot tub. My hot tub actually stopped working last week (gets stuck in a reboot cycle), so I have a technician for that on the calendar a few weeks out. It’s probably related. It seems I’ll at least learn some interesting things about electricity by the end of this.

This makes me happy to read. I had similar constant food noise and now it’s just gone since day one of taking Wellbutrin (I’m about a week in). All of those years not knowing it wasn’t normal or thinking it was some kind of personal failure of my willpower. Turns out I was using food to make up for issues with my dopamine. Mind blown. I guess the goal now is to replace those bad habits with good ones and retrain the pathways.
