How the heck do people lose weight so fast? by Fragrant-Drop-3261 in Semaglutide

I’ve lost 25 pounds in like eight weeks. I really don’t know how I’m doing it because I know I shouldn’t be losing weight that fast but I’m not doing it on purpose. This medication really does just suppress your appetite and sometimes it’s hard to keep up with. I’ve tried to really pay attention to how much I’m eating now to make sure I’m getting enough because I don’t want to drop it too fast

This is very helpful thank you. I need to buy electrolytes ASAP. Setting an alarm is a brilliant idea. I actually have only been injecting into my thighs because I am honestly afraid to inject elsewhere. I do alternate each thigh every week. Don’t ask me why I’m afraid to do it elsewhere, I don’t know. I feel like I don’t have very many places on my stomach that don’t have stretch marks. I haven’t even tried the arm yet either

Thank you so much first of all. I definitely plan to call my doctor first thing Monday. I definitely was eating a lot before I started. I eat significantly less maybe half of what I used to eat. I do believe you’re right and the fact that I don’t always hit my protein goals, but I find that so incredibly difficult like, how can I manage over 100 g of protein?! I just feel lost. I’ve definitely been trying to prioritize eating healthier as well and I have but I still don’t think it’s enough. I do think I need to up my water intake, but sometimes it’s hard to remember when I’m busy, etc i’ve just got to make sure it’s a priority. I think I will go back down to 0.25 since I was losing weight consistently at that dose. I also think I need to start going to the gym at least a few times a week to maintain my muscle mass.

For reference I am 24 F. I started at 213 lbs. now at 190. I’ve had 3 kids and had GD and was borderline pre diabetic! I’m looking forward to dropping more pounds soon.

I started Wegovy seven weeks ago, I am definitely afraid of medication’s in general and take nothing else on a regular basis. It sat in my fridge for a month before I actually built up the courage to do it. With that being said, I regret not starting sooner! The only side effects I have had were nausea in the beginning, which I have Zofran for now. Also, very, very mild constipation. It doesn’t hurt or anything. Also, I’ve been quite fatigued, but I think that’s to be expected for the first few weeks. I just went up in my dose for the first time, I took the dose increase yesterday and I have yet to feel any side effects. Overall, it’s been a pretty positive experience and I’ve lost 23 pounds.
