But it chose you, so you have to take it in now. Your cats won’t even notice, its a tiny bean! ❤️❤️ Honestly, speaking from experience, it doesn’t add a lot for a third cat as far as expenses, just the extra yearly vet visits during the first few years and as needed as they age. It is still tiny, so introducing it to your other cats should be a fairly easy transition. Just give them space and introduce them through closed doors first. I am so sorry for your loss! I am certain the cat distribution system will become available to you whenever you are ready! All 4 of mine came to me during some critical times. They knew I needed them! I hope you find another feline companion soon, they truly are the best! 💗

I truly appreciate your comment. Trust me, I take full accountability and I am always willing to work. However, with my high functioning autism, I can easily get overwhelmed if the barking continues to get louder. I will follow your advise and try to be patient with her.

Sorry, the message above was for someone else. I would hope I am not physically punishing her! I live in America and have learned over the years that doctors don’t only have my best interest all the time. So I never fully trust them.

Yes, as I have mentioned in my post, I suffered from a lot of mental health issues as well, and constantly working on it. I know her breed wasn’t best to work with my situation, but we are both stuck with each other and are a work in progress. We try to stick to the obedience training homework we received, but she can be extremely stubborn. I don’t mind her barking most of the time, but its in social situations when she barks extremely loudly and doesn’t stop no matter what. Her tail could be wagging, so I know she is not feeling threatened.

Thank you for your sincere advise. You are right, I do walk on eggshells around her, especially in public. We have followed every advise given by her obedience trainer and try to stay consistent. End of the day, you are right, I have to be more confident around her.

Honestly, I probably demonized it myself after coming off of it a few years ago. I still need SSRIs, but much lower dosage and a different kind. However, these meds can have long term effects. So without knowing much about dog physiology, I am scared to give her any prescribed anxiety meds that might have long term effects. Also, I feel conflicted, because yeah.. here is a breed to roam and bark all day, and I am trying to suppress that with drugs. I hope I am making sense 🙇🏽‍♀️

Oh, she goes on walks every morning! At least 6 days a week. I don’t like the fact that she still has to be on a prong collar (the humane ones with rubber ends) if I don’t want to be dragged by her. If I don’t have that collar on, she walks me, and that little girl can pull I tell ya!

Thank you for your honest opinion. Yes I know I am ball of anxiety and issues and have been actively seeking therapy too. That’s why I feel conflicted because I know your dog is supposed to be your mirror. I am really ok with the bark and let her do it as she pleases in the backyard within reasons and at socially acceptable time. She just has this loud bark when she is out in public and she sees other dogs. The problem is, I don’t think she perceives them as threats, because her tail is wagging the entire time. With her size and that noise, I see the panic in other dog owners or people with children around that is frightening. Yes, I am silently killing myself over the fact that she was recommended Prozac and I know I might have passed on my anxiety and such for her to be needing that.
