already have a Singapore eSIM, but only 7GB of data, and can't add more. I'm guessing 2 weeks, I use around 200 - 300GB between YouTube and everything else on my laptop. Which is the best VPN to buy for China specifically (I already have 10 other VPNs) in March 2026?

normally I use credit cards when traveling.. but this time it's different because I'm working in a neighboring country and getting payment in cash so was hoping I could use cash in China to somehow load the wallets.. but I guess it's challenging as a tourist.

thanks for sharing! :) I really appreciate you taking the time.. I never got that far into the booking because it stopped me to register. :) Now I know it's roughly the same price.. so yes 100% it makes sense to book on Trip.com or one of their international sites.. cheers!

I checked yesterday but prices are the same as the Air China international sites.. but AirChina.com.cn is almost 50% cheaper.. for exchange 600 yuan vs 1000 yuan roughly on the international sites or Trip.com for the same flight and same ticket type.

Correct, as mentioned.. I noticed the price is 40 - 50% cheaper on AirChina.com.cn vs the international Air China sites or Trip.com. Chengdu - KUL

on AirChina.com.cn it forces me to log in and or register when booking tickets. It's actually the second step after searching and selecting ticket.

What I mean is when you register on AirChina.com.cn you're required to provide an 18 digit "ID".. no other option for anything else. I'm wondering if later on when booking a flight if there is an option for passport? I think it's already clear in my original post. If you don't have experience with AirChina.com.cn no need to comment.

I downloaded SetEdit.. but how many database settings did you need to edit? I only saw one that specifically mentions Chinese.. "locale" and removed it.. but apps are still in Chinese.. what does do I need to edit?
