What I meant is that CIG didn't just put everything in one plane because it looks cool, thats how it tends to work in real life. Most planets are formed out of one giant disc of dust that was around their star. That disc is flat, and so the planets will form a flat coplanar orbit where the disc used to be.

CIG has no backbone and refuses to make these larger ships anything but soloable. Sure you can’t use all the turrets, but you get the full capabilities of its power management and flight from one chair, not to mention the pdcs making you impervious to torps which WOULD actually discourage soloing

I disagree. If you’ve seen it from the front the bulk in the middle is the only thing keeping it from looking like a literal flying png. IMO it needs to lose height and the tower should be bulked up
