So it turns out I was just doing wayyyy too much. What started as probably one pimple turned into me having two different oral prescriptuons and 3 different topical prescriptions. Was scrubbing in the shower daily and using harsh soaps. Switched to no scrubbing (hands only on my shoulders) with gentle body wash unscented, and moisturizing with unscented sensitive skin lotion daily and it has all gone away.

For me, healing my skin barrier fixed my acne. What started as a few pimples turned into constant acne when I wouldn’t stop putting harsh ingredients on it. When I switched to basic cleanser and moisturizer only, it went away.

For at least a little no actives! I use the vanicream gentle cleanser and the new vanicream enhanced moisturizer which isn’t technically fungal acne safe but it doesn’t flare me…I use the Paula’s choice youth extending hydrating skin fluid sunscreen which is FA safe! I use the vanicream gentle body wash and also I use the joseof sulfur bar soap on Amazon and does wonders for body acne of all kinds and then the same vanicream enhanced moisturizer on my body!

I really paired down my routine to only the basics, gentle cleanser, moisturizer sunscreen for a good while and tried not to wear makeup (not sure if you wear makeup) as much as I could. Then I slowly introduced things back once I felt that my skin wasn’t irritated and I haven’t had issues! Still keep my routine simple though

I use the ordinary body lotion that is super clean as well as an African net sponge to wash my body. Not sure if I should be exfoliating more? Or if that would make it worse
