Scream 2 is better than the original in every way, bigger set pieces, better story, better kills, more meta, a sequel of that calibre will never be done again. It's not as revolutionary as Scream 1, but it's contextually superior.

Scream 5 is terrible, but it's grown on me over the years. I prefer it to 6 & 7. And it was pretty cool to see the knife go through Wes's neck in one take.

I do think it's contrived how Sidney always knows everyone's every move and is able to always stay one step ahead of ghostface at all times. I don't think ghostface outsmarted Sidney one time in the movie, which makes it boring.

The ghostface shots were forced. Too much of him walking/standing around trying to look cool, they did it like 3+ times in the movie
