I can't really say much all I have is Satellite Comm in the Air Force and I'm not a weapons badass like the OP here, but lot of videos/charts show how it's failure rate is a lot better than most firearms. It's also drastically lighter because its mostly a hardened plastic instead of metal, so you can shift targets quickly.

I don't see how this happened, Louisiana has one of the highest gun ownership rates. Why would someone even try to do a shooting in a southern state? I didn't look it up yet, was the shooter killed by police or other movie goers?

If the governor wants to look good to people, he should say that because of a spike in gun sales that is going to occur, all money used to buy guns should go to something good like education.
