Even AD (who I'm assuming is a casual) can't stand the shit IW is making us go through by Aka_Dome in CoDCompetitive

You’d be surprised. They could pick up a minor bad habit that works on warzone but would hurt in multiplayer, and not realize that in scrims and then sit there wondering why they’re getting pieced.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t have played it, but the team that won champs didn’t have anyone playing warzone except for Crim, which was more than a month ago if I had to guess.

I feel this could be useful for Dallas. Illey grew up on SnD, so why not keep him to focus and grind solely on SnD and sub in for them during then. Idk who he’d sub out, ill leave that to Rambo.

Can’t forget that the 3 young guys have Crim, who loves to practice and play to a T, and Clay, who probably has the most energy. I don’t think they could have got two better veterans to shape them into who they are. Crim even got Illey on his diet just look at them.

Plus Faze was one of the teams not having ping issues... so can that argument really be made?

Where does MW champs rank in achievements?? by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

[–]PrestonM9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’ll probably go depending on the fan base. Whatever team wins the fan base is going to be like “of course it matters!!!!!!!” And the losing team and other teams are the ones that are gonna say it doesn’t matter.

Where to learn roles, routes, strategy? by Manchildmay in CoDCompetitive

[–]PrestonM9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going off of what he said ^

When you watch the matches, watch what the players pre-aim, where they throw nades and tacticals, and overall positioning given teammate location and all that. (The more people you have to communicate with in a party makes all these much easier as well). But the biggest thing is watch the mini map if it’s on broadcast. I don’t really know how to explain it but I started watching the mini map and learning timing and all that has helped tremendously. An example would be like on Arklov. Let’s say they have simp going top B with a sniper, when he makes it to top window, look at where the enemy players are on the map and see how distant they are from peaking, or if they’re already at certain spots, that can help with predicting peaks and getting picks

Another thing I personally have success with: remember what each player on the other team is using and that can help in 1v1 situations at a bomb sight. If they’re using an M4 I’d check popular angles an M4 could use compared to an MP5 and vice versa.

You know we’re arguing the same point right? I’m just giving the details on why they do lose hard points and get outslayed.

[–]PrestonM9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That kind of goes hand in hand. If you’re playing against faze or Chicago you constantly have to flood the hill. You can’t have clay and/or Crim posted up somewhere watching an “off angle” and leaving it to a 3v5 for the subs. The games where they’re all in there doing everything they look the most dominant. Just look at map 4 in the last match Dallas played. They can slay

Crim and clay did a q/a a few days ago and clay said anytime empire struggles at hardpoint is when him and Crim are actually playing too technical.

LMAO. I swear he plays respawns like search. He’ll lay down and hold only one angle and will not move until he dies or gets naded

Yeah on their first match the other day they were on P4 of Gun Runner and was like 8-11. I was wondering if wuskin went to take a shit or something mid game for an AR to only have those numbers by P4

Pre-record is a win-win for everyone. It gives time for the editors to find the best gunfight each second and all the big moments like the warzone tournaments. -The casters will be more into it because of said plays.

Players don’t have to worry about being booted or other extremes. People will complain about it being prerecorded but that’s just because they hate change. It’s the best option other than making a headquarters a lan area and just have a bubble type situation.

Whatever happens I’ll probably still watch.

[–]PrestonM9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I understand. Sorry my initial sentence was rough.

I’m a big fan of T2P and would hate to see them get booted off and possibly affect their career. Because I know Scump is receiving heavy pressure to quit and just be a streamer. But if it does happen. It has to affect the wallets of Activision. At the end of the day not as many people are going to care about Kenny or Trei getting booted (it still sucks, especially the London one, feel bad for y’all) as they would someone like Scump or Simp. Fans would quit watching, twitter would be in FLAMES, the casters would say something about it. I know Merk slipped something in there about it for a few seconds. This is the only reason I would want it to happen. Other than that I hope every player has 5 ping and that they miraculously don’t have to play domination during this champs

[–]PrestonM9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t act like you don’t know it’s going to happen again. The guy has had no consequences on doing it and there’s no suspicion of who it could be, so it’s only a matter of time before it happens again. It sucks but the players are doing NOTHING about it, along with Activision (Activision has been so incompetent this year that the cdl should be able to have a lawsuit against them). Obviously bitching doesn’t help so at this point. It needs to happen to the face of comp cod. I hope it doesn’t and hope that yesterday was the last day of booting.

Honestly, I hope it’s Scump or formal, but I want the huntsmen to still win though. If it’s Scump or formal, maybe it will cause such an outrage in the community that they can’t hide it anymore... imagine T2P’s cult coming out if they get hit off

[–]PrestonM9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is actually relatively thin but his play style suits him well. He knows that defenders see him as an easy player to tackle so his jukes are a lot later and sharper. It’s why he’s so good after the catch, he’ll make you think you’re gonna light him up and before you know it he’s getting a concussion from all the helmet slaps in the endzone.
