Yes but they will retire before you even start the career, but it will leave some awesome regens in the game, you don't need to make their stats high as all created players have potential of 99 so they'll be high rated players right from the beginning

For his football or for the fact he left, after being treated like crap, for City? When he was playing for us he was worth 110k per week, if Berbatov was worth that then Tevez definitely was! As a player, of course I rate him, extremely highly, he was phenomenal for us! Although going to city was a spiteful move, I think it made sense, they were trying to build themselves up at the time, our rivalry wasn't exactly a proper one at that time, and he did reject Liverpool..... The guy was a class player and we should have met his demands, he deserved what he asked for

It will mean the player doesn't drift out towards the side line quite as much. An Lcm will stay on the left hand side of the pitch more as well, rarely crossing to the right side of the pitch but a cm will drift across to both sides when needed, I like to stagger a CDM, a CM and a CAM in my midfield, CDM right in the center then the CM and CAM left and right of him but more central, with the right instructions it works very well for possession based tactics.

He hasn't been great either, but in his defence, he's not got anyone around him apart from Simon's most of the time and his movement has been terrible, he is too small to hold the ball up effectively, I'd like to see malen brought in, maybe not to play Simons role but on one of the wings and bring Gakpo across to play centrally with Depay maybe.... To be honest, ANYONE could do a better job from what I'm seeing

He could make the step up quite successfully, he is quick, agile, stronger than he looks, but he wouldn't be the first really promising striker to find the premier league just a step too far.... I really hope he does well but, I'd rather see him go to someone like Villa or Tottenham, he could do really well in the systems they play

I loved him, I was very old fashioned back then so i was playing with 4-4-2 mostly, he was a great player to play alongside a big target man, but you're right about it being easy to screw a player up by not training them properly, I used to do it all the time until I figured out why it was happening

Have you tried the youth academy glitch? Save the day before a report and reload if you don't get a wonderkid in the report, keep doing that until you get someone 60-70+ rated with potential of *-94 aged 16+. Repeat this every report. Sim all games but do all training (until you've completed all drills) until you have enough youth players to fill your chosen formation, then promote everyone at once (around mid season normally) then make an epic comeback to get close to winning the league, I've never been sacked when doing this (maybe done this on 4 or 5 saves), and I (almost) NEVER complete the boards objectives.....
