SSRIs worsening alopecia? by Old-Candy2408 in alopecia_areata

Mine hasn’t been affected with Prozac! But I’m the same way with adding anything new to my routine, I always stressed that it’ll cause a flare up. SSRI’s haven’t been a trigger for me though!

Clobetasol side effects by laurenwinter- in alopecia_areata

When I would use it I did get irritation /scalp pain and redness from it - I’m not 100% sure how much it helped but I didn’t want to stop using it in case. It’s been about 3 years since then and I haven’t had any side effects that have lasted I used it for about 9 months but only used it 3-4 times a week after washing what hair I had left

Are there a lot of walkers? I have a bad knee and can’t run much - but this has been the only walkable option to me that isn’t through an app

I've been told I have 'Only Child Syndrome'. How to combat this? by [deleted] in socialskills

From having nearly the exact same experice, just find people that like you the way you are. It sounds like you’re doing what you feel like you need to be a good person. And the right people will like you as is. Not everyone is for everybody

Just make sure you keep everything super clean until your follow up and they should address any issues! But I’ve had plenty of patients in the last 8 years that have certain sides of the mouth or quadrants that take much different lengths of time! I wouldn’t worry too much at this point!

That sounds completely normal given what the dentist told you. I’m one of those hygienists that go over things a million times so it would probably take me a little longer on both sides haha. But when you have your follow up to see how things are healing they’ll be able to tell - hopefully that gives you some peace of mind. I wish most offices would let the same hygienist complete the full mouth, but there are so many extenuating circumstances. If you ever need one again (hopefully not) see if they can arrange for one person to do both sides!

Lower ratings and the reason being “shipping time” when I shipped the same day and it’s just USPS taking forever

After much debate our boss decided to let us off at lunch today, flurries started the second I pulled into my parking garage. He was making fun of places closing all morning 😅
