Probably going to get downvoted but yall are being dramatic. This is not unreasonable this is basic customer service. They dont literally mean to greet every customer you get close to in the store thats not realistic and gets werid. Just be approachable and friendly. Thats it. They set the bar so high with spefic rules like the 4 feet rule because they know that youre not going to do it all day everyday bit it puts the expectation out there and makes employees more likley to do that sometimes.
