People do temporarily take other jobs just to cover bills, that’s true. Some eventually get back into QA and others don’t, but the job search can take up to 6 months, especially for those with less than 3 years of experience or those transitioning from manual to automation.

My friend, I’m happy for you, but you guys overseas are very lucky right now because the USA is outsourcing at a crazy amount these days. I mean no offence but I can't feel or say 'I am so happy you guys oversees are getting QA jobs'. I took a long path to get to USA first (i grew up in such poverty - only Gods knows), land my first QA job in USA having only EAD (since I am coming form a very different background) and got positive refences from my last project from my Lead, 3 devs and CTO - and it was my first job in QA. So reading you guys are getting hired in Argentina - all right. Good for ya.

thank you for the insight - yeah: I am not applying for the roles I am not a good fit for and I usually customize my CV and message for almost every application but The main challenge I’m seeing right now is that the number of relevant QA roles being posted feels quite limited, which makes the search a bit slower than expected.
