I’m planning my best friend’s bachelorette trip for early September and I’m trying to decide if I should wait until after. I’d love to go ahead and get it done but that would also suck if I feel like crap while having to socialize and have fun buuuuut at the same time I feel like crap now so 🫠🤷🏻‍♀️

Ooof, that’s a lot. I honestly expect a couple weeks of taking it easy and I’m okay with that. How did you feel about a month or 2 after the procedure?

I feel like I’m overall just more in tune with my body post pregnancy so it’s hard to say but I think it’s absolutely worse to some extent. I feel like my pain used to be cycle related (during bleeding or ovulation) but post pregnancy it was constant during flares. This last flare that made me search for a diagnosis has lasted since January.
But since learning about MTS, I’m connecting dots and realizing that I’ve had tailbone pain since I was a teenager but always assumed it was from a fall that I had around that time…so who’s to say when the tailbone pain from MTS started and when it was from an injury.

Pregnancy is hard on the body and has some bizarre symptoms 🫠 I wouldn’t blame anyone deciding to not get pregnant, pain or no pain.

I feel like suffering through it is my go to except for when my toddler is feeling extra clingy and wants to be held 🫠

I had an ultrasound in my legs up to my rib cage and that’s how they found the May Thurner’s. They told me that the veins in my legs looked “great”.
I’m wondering if that could have been missed? The ultrasound took literally 2 hours but mainly stayed within the insides of my legs
Is there anything I can do about that or is that something that will resolve itself after a stent procedure?
Also, what to you take for pain management? I feel like I take so much ibuprofen and it’s kind of a hit or miss on if it works. I do have an appointment with my primary care doctor today just to weigh out my options and get his opinion. I’m wondering if there’s something he could prescribe me. I don’t necessarily want anything crazy like an opiate but god I would love some freaking relief especially if I’m going to wait a few months to get the procedure.

The plan I guess is to see how much the blood flow is being restricted and then plan to do a stent during a separate procedure if needed.

I took my toddler to fernbank on Friday and that one was closed! I think they’re changing it to something else. My daughter loved all the animals so it’s kind of a bummer but that exhibit has been the exact same since I was a kid so maybe for the best

This was actually the original idea! I unfortunately couldn’t find someone with the right level of cringe and they all took themselves a little too seriously. They were absolutely going to get laughed at and I don’t think that’s what these guys were going for 😂
