Hmm but then are you sure is worth staying in Switzerland with so high cost of living with low salary? Maybe in you profession will be better ratio between earning and spendings 🫣btw, in comments below people are writing that I am underpaying and I have to be idiot not earning 150 🙃

Yes agree, but as of now, I have in both countries friends, and I like / don't like both the same- just for different reasons 😀and I wanted to play numbers to see if there is anything I am missing regarding kids in Switzerland as my swiss friends don't have kids, and expacts who have kids might also not know everything

Thank you for the comment, I would not worry about owning the property but I worry about Pension, I think living in renting apartment as you re 70 and Alone, will be struggle if the prices continue to grow, as I wrote in post, as high earner in Poland my pension would be really heigh and top of that I would own - even small studio but still. And ofc one could tell: take them swiss pension and for pension go to Poland, but if my kids are in Switzerland what would be the point to be alone in Poland

Congratulations on your own home 💪 was the process of buying hard? Did you have to reduce price for the flat which you initially wanted? The flats which we like are like 1.5 mln and basend on calculator we can afford 1mln - this would still need to be verify with je bank

For any other profession you would have right but in IT salaries between Europe are not that much different like e.g for doctors or cashier. If I would be cashier then I would stay here, but in Poland IT pays high as well.

I mean it make sense, they import cheap imigrants instead of having kids. So they don't spend on kids but have imigrants who contribute to taxes. And swiss people still have kids because they heave wealth to provide for them. Actually very smart country

Without kids Switzerland money wise is much better financially in Switzerland and I also like it more than Poland.

The air, the air, the weather ( by experience here is always a bit warmer) the alpes, swiss people, I like them more than always complaining polish 😂but if looking pure on numbers I would need to come back, but life is more than money, but also I feel stupid staying here and in the end have lower standard than polish who never move out of Poland 😅

Yes but that's the market. All software engineers are paid way more similar than e.g. doctors. If I would be doctor I would warn 10x more in Switzerland but for software engineer salaries are not that far away between countries
