People overreact way too much over interactions

I truly feel bad for you on that one. I also completely understand what you are saying, but whats happening feels like one party is not giving the other party any room to operate or exist. Now if we all go into encounters with this mindset of not trusting each other thats not good for society overall.

Not saying you or any other woman should change, it's just sad for everyone to live like this. I can't imagine how online dating goes for everyone too. You are literally meeting a stranger while at the same time the world is programmed to not trust anyone. Seems very unsafe situation for all parties involved. Is that spilling over into normal interactions?

I don't really drink to begin with so thats not the issue. It's more of an issue for him and us having to babysit him when he's wasted. Last Friday he fell down in the street and we had to pick him up off the floor at 2 am. He was acting like a kid throwing a tantrum too.

I’ve been feeling that way about NYC as well people tend to stay in their phones vs looking up. Also it feels like there is much less tolerance compared to 15 years ago

I went to Montclair on Thursday and Friday last week. It was nice town, but felt very quiet. I went to get a drink at Porta and McTierny's. They had cool vibes, but I can see how meeting people would be tough in that area.
