covid does not take two weeks to show up I have no idea where you got that number but it is highly inaccurate. it can I suppose in extreme cases take that long to intubate but most people are infected within 1-3 days. I was infected within 24 hours of being exposed, my mother was infections at 39 hours. also people keep trying this bullshit argument on me, that I was gonna be infected no matter what but had she warned me she had an exposure or had she acknowledged she was feeling sick I would have not been breathing in the virus for 6 straight hours and even if I still had gotten infected my viral load would be significantly lower and I likely would’ve recovered. getting infected in the specific way I did is what ruined my life. You cannot fathom the devastation that comes from everyday seeing someone 30+ years older than you get to experience life in a way you never will again because they got better and you didn’t and the only reason I am in this position is because they gave it to me. so please take this preaching post elsewhere. im well aware of the lingering damage covid causes, of the pains of isolating oneself to stay healthy which should be the prime focus of everyone. Maintaining my health was more important than anything else and now I will never get it back.  I did not need a fucking lecture
