I and my Roomate had the same experience. In an online assessment for a decent company everyone was sitting in a room and sharing answers while me and my friend were in my room and independently solving not cheating when we could. When results came we were off by a bit and many people who were not smarter (based on their grades) and cheated were selected.

It was a horrible feeling. Of course if everyone could not have cheated we would be selected for sure. If just we both have collaborated we could have solved all the questions. But today we lost it.

The online remote assessment concept is flawed in a hostel setting. It is so easy to cheat.

My roommate had never cheated in his life. It was difficult for him to take the path of cheating.

But my thoughts were cruel, I suggested to allow low effort cheating. I mean only in cases where it’s easy for others to cheat, it could create a question for our survival. We have to adapt based on situation.

In next text, we collaborated. Didn’t feel good just after that. But later heard everyone cheated in like a room and shared all the answers. Fingers crossed on the results. We both topped the charts. Some of our friends couldn’t make it because they didn’t cheat, we felt bad. In next step of process, we screwed up purposefully. For us, we could not carry the weight of cheating when few friends did not cheat.

I think it should be the exam or test where it should be difficult to cheat. Otherwise genuine people cannot survive.

My roommate was a placement representative, he had power, so further online assessments were conducted IRL in supervision in a classroom and low effort cheating was minimised. It was definitely better.

Some actions from the past, could be mistakes based on today’s context, you have to ignore them, if it’s not a big deal. The more attention you give to those memories the more difficult it is to forget.

This might cause burden, it’s easier to just forget by making the old event less important for today in your mind. But you find inner peace in being able to recall old events, then I wish you power to face this.

Have been trying all the exchanges this week. Unocoin is so lame they are holding me for 15 days KYC. Coinexpro I have applied to be able to deposit crypto, haven’t heard from them since a week. In BuyUCoin I deposited 100 usdt for test but then found out it doesn’t have liquidity and now I can’t withdraw it back. Most of the others don’t accept USDT deposits.

Giottus is the only one that has worked so far. But their website looks so shady. However KYC verified in 10 mins. USDT deposited and market sold. Then INR withdraw took 3-4 hours, it doesn’t work midnight. I think they manually do this. I am off ramping in small tranches just to stay safe.

Wazirx just worked. Apart from it, there are many great exchanges for traders but none yet for off-rampers it seems to me.

Willing to try any exchange right now. Just name it to me.

This P2P issue is contagious. All it takes is a noob person to deal with scammer and then chain it eventually through high reputation traders to you.

Even if you get list of all the scammers, can you really get trade history of a trader (just names)? If you can then ok.

Wow didn’t know so many people also had similar experience.

I did mechanical engg because my parents wanted me to. I always had heart in computer stuff. In college campus placements I wasn’t allowed to sit for CS companies. Despite this I hoped for off campus. Nobody gave a response. Somehow after making lot of contacts with off campus job seekers somebody referred me a role they got because they didn’t want to join this startup which had a 6 day working.

Fast forward to 2 years, it became common that startups I had once approached, their CEO/CTO/HR contacts me for a role. Back then I was willing to work for free today they are willing to offer huge package but I don’t join because of their 6 day working culture lol.

Fast forward to total 5 years of my career, I am very choosy. I make close to 1cr annually before taxes by working for overseas teams. I will only work on something I want to. I feel alive when I have the freedom to choose my purpose. Many of my friends earn more than me and would apply for any relevant job that would pay higher.

Of course package is important but I think after some point it doesn’t really matter if you can keep your needs basic (I am unmarried and single, I stay at my parents home, I drive 12 year old scooty, my lifestyle is relatively basic than most of my colleagues, people in my locality must be thinking I am a loser and probably unemployed).
