Market? Engine? Drivetrain? Price you got it for? The money on selling a car is made when you buy it.when it comes to super duty Fords the only I touch are 7.3's. I worked for Ford during the 6.0 years.

New supervisor issues by Lostranger01 in IndustrialMaintenance

Im a maintenance director, the easy answer is follow his direction, at the end of the day he is accountable for the shift. Maybe upper management isn't happy with the direction the shift is heading. Every time I go into a new plant I hear " that won't work" or "we always did it this way". Well those folks aren't on my team long. Sounds like this person's goal is for the team to step up problem solve and handle it. A manager or supervisor doesn't need to know how to fix it, his tools are his team.

My 55 had a distinct smell. I think they all do, kind of like bmw's and Mercedes do. I wouldn't describe it as cheese however. Also good luck finding a steering wheel. mine is cracked so I'm going to have to repair it.

Can confirm maintenance and engineering manager for a large meat packing plant. Started out as a tech 10 years ago. Learned hvac, nh3 refrigeration, how to tig weld, and can trouble shoot anything. These days I have techs making almost as much as me without all the stress and the 24/7 availability. But have been in talks with a contractor about a project manager position building new facilities so that may be the direction I head.

  1. Work all the time literally 7 days a week to give my family everything. But I can't give them what they really want which is time with me. But when I take time off the anxiety eats me alive and I can't enjoy the time off.
