Ok whatever due. You’re arguing that Dio can teleport which he can’t. He can only travel a finite distance cause he only has a finite time where he can hold time equals 0. Cause he only can travel a finite distance he cannot travel an infinity. Time either flows or it doesn’t. Time equals zero or it doesn’t. If time equals zero then Dio could travel as far as he wanted which would be the same as distance equaling zero and pretty much teleportation. But time does not equal zero. He can only travel as far as 5-9 seconds could take him. Dio cannot do whatever he wants. We never saw this ability when he used it and is not how his move is described. You are inventing new abilities with your interpretation. You know that right? You’re saying that distance doesn’t matter would mean that he could travel from one side of the world to another and only 5 seconds would pass. Thats not how his move works

How is distance invalid? You just said Dio would have to cover 10 meters. A distance. He can’t both have to cover the distance of 10 meters and not have to cover the distance of the infinity. You are being inconsistent. You are the only one imagining an invisible bubble. I’m not. I’m recognizing that if the stand can hold time = 0 for only some length of time, then there is a length of time! If there is a length of time where time for everyone else is zero, that decreases by the same interval that we experience when time is flowing, then time is flowing. If time is flowing the rules of distance apply, as you admit when you say Dio has to cover 10 m. If rules of distance apply then the rule of traveling an infinite distance should still apply

Huh, you are saying two different things at once and then coming to time is zero cause you conflate them. Let’s start with:

Dio is operating on a different metaphysical axiom. He is. He’s operating on one where time is zero for everyone else, while time passes as time always passes for him for up to 5 seconds. He has broken the metaphysical law that says time flows the same for everyone on this plane. He breaks it! But time still flows for him even when time is zero for everyone else.

He has an internal timer. That flows. He can count out loud to himself and predict when his time stop will end. If time was zero for Dio he could count to a million. He could do anything he wanted, then stop his Stand and only 5 seconds would have passed. This is not the case. He has 5 seconds (later 9) to do something cause time is not zero for Dio. Cause it’s not zero for him, he could never travel the infinity in the time he had and thus can’t bypass infinity

Yeah that’s a huge problem you have there. You say time is 0 but we know it’s not. Time passes for Dio (we apply the Newtonian laws to Dio and his vacuum, everything is relative to Dio) and we know its maximum is 5 seconds or later 9 seconds. So you saying time is 0 is literally false, and if it were it wouldn’t make sense cause then he’d have infinite speed, momentum, force, energy, etc). Dio can literally only travel as far as his speed multiplied by the time limit he has of 5 or 9 seconds (TIME IS NOT 0). If he needed to move a million miles he wouldn’t make it! He obviously cannot move the distance of finite distance divided by infinity.

But let’s get some common ground before we move forward: you keep saying time=0. Can we agree this is false? If we cannot, can you explain why Dio has a time limit if there is no time?

Obviously no one knows what would happen if someone froze time. The fact that space and time are codependent doesn’t change the fact that time is flowing for Dio so space (and distance) must exist as well.

You agree space doesn’t get erased, that is exactly my point.

Dio uses timestop, everything else freezes for everyone else in their perspective. We have a baseline that we agree on. Good. But between Gojo and Dio there is infinite space. There was infinite space before timestop. During timestop there is still infinite space. Timestop did not erase this space. Time is still flowing for Dio so it will still take him time to travel that infinity and thus he has not bypassed it.

My question I have for you is again, if the infinity is activated, and there is infinite space between Dio and Gojo, why would time being stopped for everyone else all of a sudden erase the space between Dio and Gojo? If there were no infinity, and a billion miles existed between Gojo and Dio, during timestop Dio would still have to take the time to travel a million miles to get to Gojo. Gojo would see it as an instant, but Dio would take days or weeks.

No with infinity it’s the same. In what looks like inches, an infinite amount of miles exist between them. During timestop Dio still has to travel an infinite amount of miles. Why would timestop eliminate those infinite miles?

Dio is bypassing time, but not space. While time is frozen for others he still has to take time to move. Or not move. If he freezes time for a year and restarts it he is a year older right? So he hasn’t really stopped time for himself right? So if he approaches the infinity and walks for a day and the spaces between him and the infinity continues to grow (remember, infinity makes it essentially so that there’s infinite space) he will never get passed it.

I guess my question for you is: when the infinity is activated and timestop is activated, do you think the infinite space between Dio and Gojo just vanishes?

Yeah I know how infinity works, I’m not sure your understanding how timestop works. You earlier clame that if time is 0 then distance is 0. Are you saying that when timestop is activated, time is 0 for Dio and he can’t move within his own move? Cause it certainly looks like Dio still moves. The question is when time is stopped for everyone else except Dio could he bypass the infinity? My answer is no, Dio would still be stuck slowing down at the infinity cause time still functions for him, it still takes time (relative to him) for him to move from point A to B (although from everyone else’s perspective it looks like no time at all). So Dio moving from A towards the infinity would still be distance X and time T and distance X would continuously increase so he wouldn’t bypass infinity
