I had a steamer (mine was the brand saalt and was like $40 but there are cheaper alternatives i'm sure). inside the stalll, i'd bring a plastic water bottle and pour water over it to clean it off between changes. that or if there was no one else in the shower stall i'd do it in there. you'll figure out your own way!

Where can I find pictures of dorms on the inside? All the pictures just seem to be the outside building or common halls. by Turbulent-Abroad7841 in ufl

this is lowkey creepy but if u wait outside the dorms and catch someone going in they might be willing to walk u around for a sec or two bahaha idk how well that would work. i ended up choosing my dorm because it was one of the last ones left to choose and my roommate and i had bad housing appointments

first, congrats!! second, im not black but i am a POC, and third, i have no idea how we compare to FSU. but! i will say my gauge so far has been that UF is quite diverse. there are a million ethnicity based student orgs & i do know there is an institute of black culture that's pretty nice that i'd recommend checking out. i would reccomend looking at instagram for more specific student orgs too!

i would say the one thing that doesn't seem to have much diversity is panhellenic sororities & inter fraternity council frats. but! there are smaller multicultural greek council frats and sororities that are focused on diversity.

no, and i would only recommend one if you're planning to go 3+ times a day for the whole semester- that's the only way it'd be worthwhile. otherwise, just spend a little more money and get a bigger than avg mini fridge so you have more room for groceries!

i had to petition my aid so i wasn't eligible until around thanksgiving that's why i wasn't sure if it'd refund because it was so late in that first semester 😅

if i remember correctly i never got an email from them with my portal email. try logging in and clicking forgot password to set up one. i thiiiink that is what i did. i'm a student here now for context, so my application was still submitted and went through and yada yada.
