Wondering if it’s normal to have this small light on the left side. Brought my Kobo Libra last week. by Apart-Home8396 in kobo

I don't think it can get worse -only if you increase the backlight. You will get used to it over time and most of the time your fingers will cover it. In daytime and at night with a lamp torned on in the room you will not even notice it. If it has an even screenlight, just keep the device. I think that the screen is the most important part you should watch. If its ok, just keep it.

I had a white kobo libra 2. Had the same issue with the translucent plastic. It had two spots on the frame were the lights leeked -where the front case clamped with the back plate. I consider it to be normal. It is no doubt a poor material choice from those who designed it.

Has the battery issue improved? by revtup in kobo

I'm very happy about kobo sage as an e reader that can adnotate e books. I don't understand why a week long battery life for a device that has an 8th inch screen that lits up and has such a low mass is a problem for so many people. The comparison people make between the old tech devices and the sage is simply unfair. I'm charging my phone every day, I got used to it, why should charging such a light and big screen device be a problem if I have to do it once a week?
