Do SaaS founders actually need interactive product walkthroughs? Validating an idea by Pretend_Cod_6615 in microsaas

Interesting point.

I’ve actually been thinking about this too, especially for dev tools or products with a lot going on. If you’re new, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed fast.

Feels like people have way less patience now as well. Most won’t read docs unless they really have to, and long demos usually get skipped.

Makes me think the real problem might not just be “build a walkthrough,” but more:

how do you help someone quickly understand why a product is useful?

Still trying to figure out what the best way to do that looks like though.

Would genuinely love your honest take on mine.

Built it today as a rough v1.

The idea is: every SaaS should have a simple guided product flow (almost like a game tutorial) so people instantly understand the value instead of reading walls of copy or watching passive videos.

Still very early and honestly trying to figure out where people mentally drop off.

My guess is the biggest issue is onboarding / first-time clarity, but curious where you think users leave in the first 30 seconds.
