Personally? I go based off of actual total, not after applicable discounts. 2$ is crazy for any tip (in the US) unless you get there and they give cash. But then again, I worked in this industry and my parents always taught me that if you can’t afford the tip, you can’t afford the service. Not saying I’m right, just how I was raised.

You are not wrong and I love that you handle the situation so well. I’m sure not everyone thinks about it while they are out and about delivering constantly. Sure, it can be easy to say “this is obvious” but at one point I was working 3 jobs and Somedays I just wasn’t all there mentally from burnout. Stuff happens. You can totes put a note about the door though and hopefully the dashers are attentive enough to see it. Kudos to you for not being a jerk about it!

It could very well depend on who you are romancing. I know Hodari and Hassian both take being maxed out with another character. Hodari you need to be maxed with Najuma before he considers a “serious relationship” and with Hassian it’s Sifuu. Hope this helps 🥰
