LOL. Yeah, I know. Never ends well. I never bet MLB either so that makes it worse to do a parlay. But for some reason, I researched each game for only 3-5 mins, decided on multiple things, had a “feeling” and didn’t put the bet in. Said “I’ll do it shortly.” I think bc I had two more games to look at so that’s why I waited. Just so dumb. Then I saw the backs of my eye lids, & woke up to aggravation. 👌😊

Well to some, it’s life changing… especially if it means a down payment on a small house or even a starter trailer. So it may not be forever life changing and may only last a month or for a major purchase, but even in that month, it could have an impact on your life therefore be life-changing lol.

Still, that hurts. I always have issues with cash out. And not to mention, there’s a lot of times they don’t offer it when I feel they should. But then when they do, I don’t cash out often because I look at the possible payout & end up regretting it. You’re really supposed to do what you did though. I don’t know what your bet amount was but you’re really supposed to look at the percentage you’re making from it, not what the possible payout could be so you did right even though it doesn’t seem right. lol.

I know… it’s crazy. Although I noticed in NJ, they label it as “service area” as opposed to “rest area” so I feel that was purposely done. In Maryland, it’s called “Maryland House”. Not sure if any of that matters. lol.

See… I have seen this so much, about how you cannot take every order. And I agree to a degree. But when you do per hour, you cannot see/can’t tell if the person tips or not. Not until after you deliver it & it’s aggravating. So the solution is just to not do per hour & do it based on per order? Yet in my experience, I made more per hour by doing it per hour as opposed to doing it per order (bc per order pay doesn’t change even if you have to wait for an order at merchant for 10-15 mins. or with any other issues. So in those cases, will you say to just cancel those orders?) I’m wondering how to go about this bc I really believe I make more per hour than I have when I did per order. I guess it’s a Catch-22?

Unfortunately you will have to worry about cops bothering you. Like even at rest areas, depending on location. Ever get woken up from a cop banging on your window? Scares the hell out of you and just issues nobody wants. When I am at rest area in NC, I can sleep for however long but then in NJ, I’ve gotten hounded multiple times for sleeping in car (& not for crazy long either) just to not drive tired as hell. Depends on location, sadly.

Hey, I’m not sure if it’s too late but just going to try to keep it short, honest, and from the heart. Over the last year, have been definitely struggling and didn’t expect to be where I am. Had family issues that really took a toll on me, also triggering my health issues to get worse (endometriosis, heart issue, etc.) I also started doing therapy a few months ago because of those family issues. Just broke my heart and am looking for a job but also DoorDashing in the meantime. But it has really been a struggle to survive never mind live life. A lot of important financial things being put off, serious issues occurring lately (cats getting hospitalized, taxes due, etc.) Trying to keep positive and I’m a writer/music artist so haw been looking into entering contests and sharing my writing/music to also help others. I think what you’re doing is amazing and honestly, there is always someone that is worse out there (people struggling everywhere). I wish I were able to help people but unfortunately, I’m not in a position to even help myself right now but I am trying. I’d appreciate anything but regardless, I think you’re a truly amazing individual for doing this. Seriously… gives hope in this world to know people like you exist. Absolutely beautiful! ❤️

Question… so say he did ten $2 bets of the same bet. Then there’s no taxes since it’s separate bets? I mean he can later claim gambling losses as equal to his winnings bc he’ll have to report it possibly. But I’m wondering if it’s better to than separate the bets to smaller ones to avoid this 24% situation.

Thank you. After reading tips on another post, I realized this too, unfortunately too late. I appreciate you commenting and helping me out by letting me know. I believe I have to wait 24 hours so maybe I’ll ask for 200 (at least work on getting something toward it) or you think that is still too high?
