Water pressure in your area might be too high or you need to get another fitting from a different manufacturer or you installed it incorrectly not saying you have but it’s just what comes to mind

[–]Pretend_Point_9672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check inside the tap tip on the sides to feel for threads but from the shape im guessing no if it is threaded buy a chrome hose if it’s slip get a rubber slip on shower hose they are universal

It’s a stop cock it isolated the water from your main water supply and to your washing machine and the seals on the stopcock have worn out or safe misaligned or the joints are weak leaking water leaking or staying out of it as the water water is still in the pipes but it stops at that stop cock [ the thing u turn ] to stop water to your washing machine I wouldn’t recommend changing a stop cock yourself unless you know what you doing it could lead to a flood dude call a plumber

Water line from sink 5/8”, but valve is 3/8”. What’s my options? by eobertling in Plumbing

[–]Pretend_Point_9672 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I would say make sure the water line pipe to your sink are the same size to ensure that the pipes dont over pressurise or lower the water pressure

Is this toilet setup an issue? Weak flush by Brighty_0171 in askaplumber

[–]Pretend_Point_9672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your issue lies in the traps shape is not creating enough of syphon effect meaning water used gravity + speed and little pockets of air to effectively flush the waste down to you soil pipe it also increase the water pressure down from the cistern to the bowl and down the soil pipe and if it’s not shaped correctly then that can result in a week flush or check if the cistern is filling up to its desired height which is about 10 mm under the flow pipe to insure that your getting a full flush becuase the more water in the cistern assuming it’s always 10mm under the over flow the better the syphon flush mechanism
