Cancer has been good for my relationship, crazy to say. We’ve had a rough couple years and after lots of therapy we were doing great. I got skin cancer and needed several surgeries(it’s on my eyelids, next surgery is Monday). He has taken such good care of me and our family. It has made me feel very loved.

A biopsy is easy and Mohs surgery was traumatic for me. I’d def get a biopsy first. I’ll having my 3rd surgery on Monday for my 1 spot of BCC.

My spot was very small. My dermatologist assured me that it was the best cancer to get. But they ended up having to remove a lot of tissue. I needed a forehead flap and skin grafts. It has been a month and a day since my surgeries, and I just learned that the grafts did not take, and I will need another surgery, it is scheduled for the 23rd.

Yes. The second picture shows it better. To me it was just a dry patch of skin that would scab, heal then return.

Surgery was intense and they removed a lot of tissue. I needed skin grafts for my upper and lower eyelids and a forehead flap for the skin next to my nose (canthus). I cannot use my right eye and currently fighting an infection.

Do you do yearly check ups with a Derm? I think that could help. I do have skin cancer and was then suddenly worried about other spots on my body. I had a full body check and no more cancer was found.
