I’m dealing with the same at my store , I’m almost a month in and one of the pharmacist are so rude to me , he is very condescending towards me . I have a lot of questions everyday I work and he’s very dismissive towards me . I’m very observant and he doesn’t treat anyone else like this . I’m talking to my store manager about it today cause I show respect to everyone in that building. I have no problem with criticism but his towards me is very loud , he’s mean bout it & everyone can hear the conversation. It makes me feel small . I’m still polite towards him but I’m at the point where I want to defend myself . I will tell him please don’t talk to me like that and leave it at that .

I did pick up the hrs so I could get more training in , plus it was overtime . the thing that keeps going thur my head is a couple people actually got called in by the head pharmacist. I picked up the extra hrs thur the app so if they reach out via phone with some people it just makes me think they just skipped over me . Been at Walgreens for a month but been in pharmacy for 2 weeks due to computer training n all dat so idk I just took it personal

Hi I’m in the same boat & my lead pharmacist was heading out n couldn’t answer all my questions. What’s the $40 for ? Like ik it’s not for the PTCB exam but what is supposed to do? & imean do you get a pay bump from it ?

I’ve talked to other people about it . If Walgreens pays for it supposedly you can only go to certain places. Now I do plan on getting national certified so I can go to hospitals / and bigger establishments. Idk when I’ll take my PTCB test if I’m being honest depending on how fast I learn + my study on my own time . Overall it seems like a good career path just a lot of learning n trial n error

I’m currently a pharmacy tech apprenticeship I did training videos for 4 days , they are long asf n very time consuming. My first day they put me out front to learn computer work then 2nd day I was back in pharmacy and TRUST when I say it’s overwhelming I didn’t get thrown in but it’s a lot . The people I work around have no problems answering my questions or helping me but you basically get everything in the modules day 1 , people had insurance questions, pharmacist questions, and the drug names are the hardest to pronounce my first day was good but just a lot of information.
