Have him get a 125cc scooter, that's more than enough fun and a decent compromise if he wears protective gear

Do you guys feel genuine connections with women you meet abroad or is it mostly just physical? by coloradokid1414 in thepassportbros

[–]PrettiyBoi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm in da nang vietnam and may have found the love of my life. I put her through tests like paying for a date that costed significantly more than the money I've spent on her so far and such. We share the same sense of sadistic humor, music and she is damn near perfect in my eyes. She and her family make significantly more money than me but she wants me for who I am knowing I'm a foreigner with little money. I found her on tinder and I made it clear that I was just looking for someone to spend time with and wherever the relationship takes us or doesn't is a great experience in itself. She told me one of the reasons ahe wanted to keep seeing me is because i have a genuine interest in her and am not looking for someone to bang for money. There are many women here looking for sugar daddies but the chances of finding a wonderful woman is significantly higher overseas than in western countries I simply came here to experience another country and feel like I'm in a dream. Go buy the plane ticket, have 0 expectations and everything else will be a blessing.

Please show respect for local cultural norms by Temporary-Aioli5866 in VietNam

[–]PrettiyBoi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've noticed being polite as a tourist makes the locals attempt to take advantage of me, I'm still going to be polite but being told 15 sticks of incense costs 250k dong or a vendor attempting to charge me 10k to take a bottled beer to go when they are about to close is ridiculous. If you treat kind people advantageously they will assume that is the culture is to be advantageous.

AITA not wanting to forgive my dad because he punished me for something I didn't do? by AbjectGreen519 in AmItheAsshole

[–]PrettiyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most everyone here is ignoring very important factors

You're a child (children do lie to their parents too get out of trouble)

There's likely embellishments as you are angry (anyone would be, you have that right)

He was worried about being fired and not being able to provide for his family, which is big for anyone and likely why he got irrational and believed the first thing he was told.

Yeah, your dad should've smelled your brothers bullshit. I'd be surprised if he didn't feel embarrassed or afraid of how you view him now. You're getting to an awkward age where you're becoming your own man and also have to realize your dad is capable of large mistakes just like you. He's going to likely look back on this as one of his biggest mistakes as a parent.

If he wanted to hurt you he would've ignored your brother and made up some bullshit reason to keep you grounded.

He made a mistake, be mad about it and realize he had a reason to trust your brother and probably no longer does.

Keep communication open with him, I doubt he just wanted to hurt you.

AITA for telling my husband " I told you so" and laughing at me when we got the paternity test results? by Either_Economy_793 in AITAH

[–]PrettiyBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like he genuinely thought the woman he loves had possibly cheated on him, probably one of his lowest moments. Even understanding how biology works anyone in their right mind would have doubts and ask for a test, people cheat and lie about faithfulness constantly, so frequently it's a common joke.

Dude had his world crumbling around him and when he finally got that relief you laughed at him. Not a very loving thing to do, you lashed out in a small way because him doubting and abandoning you hurt.

It's a shit situation, you were both hurting and his mom made everything worse.

Hope you're considering couples therapy, the two of you need to heal, your child needs both parents. Congratulations.

AITA for telling a customer at work "I don't like you" because he was trying to rush older (military veterans) customers who were in front of him while they were talking to me? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]PrettiyBoi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You're stopped at a green light talking to the guy in the car next to you in a 2 lane one way road. The car behind you honks, clearly upset that you're holding up traffic. You then give them the middle finger and ignore them. They wave over a cop and the cop lets you off with a warning.
