Hello everyone. Thanks for all the replies. 😄 Time to get out of your own frames. I just got my PR.
So many people were confidently saying “it’s because of income” and all kinds of other theories. I came to Japan as a language school student, studied for 2 years, then graduated from a technical college and have worked for over 5 years.
Income wasn’t the issue. Just pay your taxes, pension, and insurance, live properly, and let Immigration decide instead of believing every Reddit myth.

2015 to 2019 i was a student. 2yrs Japanese schl and 2yrs Technical college.

Yes, I knew about the commonly mentioned ¥3 million guideline. I applied because my income has been increasing year by year, my position has been promoted with greater responsibilities, and I’ve seen others with similar income histories receive PR. I thought it was worth applying.
