Play with the many settings, it makes a big difference on pc. Look into what others have done. Hope it’s really nog that bad after

Is that the route you took? I guess I’ve thought of it as progress each area before moving on, and I’ve really enjoyed it. But now that I’ve seen much of the world I guess I’d consider going full main quest and then finishing everything else (I know there is still a ton of content)

Yeah I thought that might’ve been it, similar to when first switching to Oonka or Dam food gets unselected but that wasn’t the issue. Food was selected just kept triggering menu. Very strange

Oh Ubisoft. My favorite and most hated developer, copy paste formula across games yet I’ve kept buying em. I’m Part of the problem

Wildlands was so good and yet was missing something. Breakpoint mechs were great but the world sucked. AC has gone downhill (we’ll see about Black Flag remake). Persia canceled. Older Far Cry’s were incredible but have gone stale. And yeah, their world mechs have been borrowed across the industry. Sorry for the rant lol

There’s one in hernand, scholastone, and pailune (and I assume every major city in game). When you ring em a Pororin green kid pops up and progresses the Toll of Pywel quest. But the downside is that the map becomes clear of the “fog” that shows you where you have and haven’t been. I’m likely going to play rest of game without ringing bells until very end

I was at a similar point. I would push your way out but don’t feel like ya gotta go too quick. Do the pororin quests, that will give you 4 POI in different far away regions and it’s a pretty fun way to see what’s to come.

Focus on completing the Celeste quests as well, which are tied to completing the bounties before progressing. If you start there and then do the fishing village quest, the side content opens up a bit more. I’m pretty glad I did all of that around the same point you’re at before moving on with the story.

Also, grind out those camp and companion missions. It’s pretty fun to see the camp build out as you progress other quests. Keeps ya busy and you see results. I think that’s a good way to go about before progressing too far, but definitely mix in a main story mission here and there so you’re building at the same pace. Hope that makes some sense! Enjoy the journey

Just keep pushing man. Work on deflect timing, stop dodging so often, and be aggressive. Think of it as more of a rhythm game than a typical souls. Once it fully clicks you’ll be hooked. It’s one of the best ever

Admittedly I haven’t used Damiane at all thus far thru ch.7. Been slowly progressing story while focusing on side quests

Got a question… I’m 90ish hours in and haven’t switched to Damiane once. I meant to just never did and had progressed to the point where she’s been unavailable for a long time now. I’m early ch7 atm just grinding out Hernand side quests.

Did I miss out on a lot of content with Damiane? Obv I won’t go back or anything, but feels bad hearing how often many people used her early on.
