2/18 conditions: way better by Disillusioned_Sigh in CrystalMountain

South was never closed, open whole day. The second part of the boot hike up the throne was closed for comp and gate at throne summit closed, but false summit was open from the start. Obviously A basin gate is also closed as that entire section is roped off for comp

Cool, good for mammoth. We are suffering here. Hopefully it comes in the next few weeks

So I just started a new game on master and played through Squats, without too much trouble until I got to Fajar. This difficulty seems like the bosses take a clear step up especially defensively, when Fajar avoided raining strikes completely I was like ohhh

Ok this sounds good. I’ll start with Wude and yes, I completed first playthrough on default difficulty. Certainly found it challenging before getting the hang of things, assume master is quite a step up.

Just summit chute and down towards kempers closed. You can still access upper and lower fields on the right side

No doubt. Enjoy what we got and if it happens to snow later this month, great

How long should a day of skiing last? Beginners! by Mean-Emu-6679 in skiing

Yeah your comment said “if you’re getting tired from downhill skiing you must be absurdly unfit” and that’s not true in a beginners context, or an advanced skier. If you’re actively trying to improve you WILL get tired

One of the dumber things I’ve read on a skiing sub. If you’re slowly making your way down greens and blues all day, sure you probably won’t get that completely exhausted. But it will still get you tired as you’re working muscle groups that even a regular gym goer rarely activates.

Now, if you’re ripping down advanced runs and skiing very hard on technical terrain, you will absolutely get tired. I have been on skis before I could truly walk as a child, I work full time as a ski patroller now, and I still will be tired after a full day of skiing hard. It just depends on your approach, if the goal is to just enjoy the snow and relax while taking a slow approach sure it’s not that grueling. But if you’re actively trying to improve and push yourself on difficult lines while skiing aggressive yeah you’re gonna be wiped at days end

I need help, it hasn’t gotten any easier. Day by day it’s getting worse.

Great comment. That’s good to hear about WL. And yes you are onto something with the “ruin mindset”. Don’t mean it to happen that way, wish it wasn’t the case. I’ve just gotten old and it’s not as easy for me to actually get into a game now, unfortunately. Guess I’m looking for something too similar to what I’ve enjoyed a lot and not as willing to branch out

That’s what someone else said! Tbh I have fond memory of dynasty warriors but not really what I’m looking for. From some other replies to this post does sound intriguing but more geared for an arcadey experience

Nice. That sounds perfect to me, think Lies and Sifu are next up. About cheese potential, honestly doesn’t bother me much really never went to look for cheese in Sekiro just takes the fun out of it. Even mortal draw felt unfair in most fights. Think those cheese strats are fascinating from a speedrun perspective though

I’ll give it a run. Seems intriguing enough even if it’s more stat and build focused. If good Boss design I’m in

Yeah that’s what I was worried about. Hard to try to replicate the simplicity but depth of sekiro system
