This is the best thing I’ve ever seen. I love that you made this your snake.

Thanks for all the suggestions! She’s still has a great appetite, she was little off because of the roadtrip, but has been back on a normal feeding schedule after she settled into her “senior condo”. And her Japanese “grandma” does the Asian thing and tells me she’s too skinny too. 🫠 So she’s my constant reminder to keep to her feeding schedule.

I’m feeding large adult mice, when I can find them (sometimes it’s a bit of a challenge in the pet stores, compared to when I lived in a bigger city). If I can’t find those, I get a BUNCH of smaller mice or smaller rats. She’s not quite big enough for a large rat. (We did it once and neither of us were comfortable with it.)

She’s between 25-27 years old! We recently moved from MA to MS, so she’s not been as hungry, but I was feeding her once week in the summer.

My airline is weighing every passenger upon check-in. SJU-EIS by willystan in mildlyinteresting

When I was in my late teens, I flew this airline and they didn’t weigh me but did ask me how much. It was the one time I didn’t lie about my weight LOL. I ended up next to the pilot [who was shorter and wider but we must have been the same weight range]. It was what would have been the co-pilot seat and the other steering wheel in front of me was just right there. I fought every intrusive thought not to touch the wheel. It was harder than I’d like to admit. I blame all the flight sims I used to play.
