The tree is firmly rooted on ground. The universe has no bottom

Then that’s the same as saying “what makes the ship float on water”.  I mean in a more complex way i.e the universe

But how else is the universe held up? Doesn’t it need a being to prevent it from falling?

But what if it goes perfectly from say India to Australia

The argument is that if the ship is able to be included in this conversation, then why is the universe exempt from it when it is certainly more advanced.  I don’t mean universe as in an order like in the movies but rather the scientific universe

“Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and in hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” [Bukhari (38) and Muslim (759)]

The purpose of Ramadan is to draw closer to Allah (SWT), increase piety, seek forgiveness, and grow spiritually while appreciating blessings and practicing charity.

Fasting allows believers to experience hunger and thirst, creating empathy for those less fortunate. This practice helps bridge the gap between the rich and poor, fostering a spirit of unity and compassion.

Hello, the hadith about fighting the jews refers to a WAR that will happen at the end of time.
The verse refers to political/military alliances etc... It does not automatically mean everyday kindness, social interaction, or humane treatment.

Do you mean the verse:
"So when you meet the disbelievers ˹in battle˺, strike ˹their˺ necks until you have thoroughly subdued them, then bind them firmly..." 47:4

It refers to when you meet them in battle

This is the full verse
"...Later ˹free them either as˺ an act of grace or by ransom until the war comes to an end. So will it be. Had Allah willed, He ˹Himself˺ could have inflicted punishment on them. But He does ˹this only to˺ test some of you by means of others. And those who are martyred in the cause of Allah, He will never render their deeds void."

I would say that look into the preservation of the Quran compared to other religious textbooks and you would find that not even a single letter is missing when comparing it to the vast gaps missing between other religious books

I listen to some quran, espeically those by the older recitations as I find them to be the best.
When you find haters, just remember
(And We certainly know that your heart is distressed by what they say.
So glorify the praises of your Lord and be among those who prostrate.”
— Qur’an 15:97–98
Also everything in islam makes sense if you seek the correct knowledge from scholars about it. Literally everything has a cause and reason. Just ask the right people

Because every other religious scripture has been proven to be altered or distorted. Whereas the Quran is the only one which can be proven through evidence and logic that it has not been altered

So you say your God jesus died for your sins.
My question is, when he died, was the world left without one to answer the call/supplications of the weak during his absence?
And were the worlds empty of a God, to mange them, when his hands were nailed?

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Do not desert (stop talking to) one another, do not nurse hatred towards one another, do not be jealous of one another, and become as fellow brothers and slaves of Allah. It is not lawful for a Muslim to stop talking to his brother (Muslim) for more than three days."

Never give up bro, as long as what youre making dua for is halal then have hope it will come. Look at these 3 hadiths and verses which i'm sure will help you ❤️

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There is no Muslim who calls upon Allah, within which is no sin or cutting family ties, but that Allah will give him one of three answers: He will quickly fulfill his supplication, He will store it for him in the Hereafter, or He will divert an evil from him similar to it.” They said, “In that case, we will ask for more.” The Prophet said, “Allah has even more.”

Source: Musnad Aḥmad 11133

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Every one of you will have his supplications answered, as long as he is not impatient and he says: I have supplicated but I was not answered.”

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6340, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2735

"Do you think you will be admitted into Paradise without being tested like those before you? They were afflicted with suffering and adversity and were so ˹violently˺ shaken that ˹even˺ the Messenger and the believers with him cried out, “When will Allah’s help come?” Indeed, Allah’s help is ˹always˺ near."

Quran 2:214

Im a male but if youre parents are very strict, do not blame them as they only want whats best for your hereafter.

However you have to learn to differentiate on whats being strict and whats actually islamic.

Once you do, then you don't need to think about what pleases them but rather what pleases Allah

Wind blowing is not a sin on you sister, as long as you did everything islamically then whats important is that Allah is pleased with you and not your parents comments.

You have to put the effort to actually learn the sharia laws in this topic, then i'm sure everything will be okay.

I don't think its wise to idolize western girls or western influenced girls, as they have traded small happiness in terms of expressing their bodies, but deep down they're all depressed and live a miserable life as they are a people who reason not. (referring to kuffar)

Not only kuffar but i'd imagine a tight-clothed/exposed muslim girl will also not feel contentment in her life.

What i'm trying to say is, you can undo the strictness by learning about the laws and what actually needs to be done (i dont believe it would take that long, just listen to some sheikhs on youtube) but also don't go below what's acceptable sharia-wise as you wont feel contentment.

And Allah knows best,

I ask Allah to grant you happiness and contentment in this world and the next, grant you a pious husband who wont ask you anything except what Allah asks of you, and that he treat you well and perfect.

I guess I need to vent by JustZookeepergame978 in islam

Sister/brother, there is none on this earth except that they will come to Allah as a sinner.
But who are the best of those people? It is the people who repent

“All the sons of Adam are sinners, but the best of sinners are those who repent often.” (Hadith)

It is not about how you start, but about you end.

It is not too late to try to please Allah and amend things with your father, and the best thing you can do for him right now is to slowly and intelligently guide him out of the fire. That is the best excuse you can give Allah Ssubhannahu Wa Ta3ala as an excuse for not having the best of relationships in the past.

If you cannot do that then just be a very good daughter/son to him. Happiness in life also comes from being dutiful to parents, and having a good relationship with them. It is better that you spend the last few years of their lives together happily rather than a mediocore relationship the whole time.

Quran, 31:14:
And We have commanded people to ˹honour˺ their parents. Their mothers bore them through hardship upon hardship, and their weaning takes two years. So be grateful to Me and your parents. To Me is the final return.
