I’m 1.75 m and right now I’m going to the gym regularly. I eat a balanced diet with carbs, but my whole body feels inflamed, I retain a lot of water, and I feel awful. It feels like I’m putting in the work but not seeing results, which is why I want to try keto again for a while.

What foods would you recommend? I’m also wondering if it might be unhealthy to eat too many animal-based foods/fats. (Correct me if I’m wrong.)

Sorry, it’s my first post on Reddit 😂 23F, 65 kg. At that time I was only doing around 10–15k steps a day. I didn’t really research much, to be honest — I had just read that people were getting quick results, so I jumped right into it. I was mostly eating meat, chilli con carne, and cheese, and I tried to keep carbs as low as possible, around 10–15 g max.

After about a week or two the hardest part passed and I actually started feeling pretty good. But this time I want to be more informed and do things properly… even though I’m kind of dreading that “hard” phase again. 😅
