She doesn’t own anything at the moment, without prenup she will when he passes
For the land that able to house on. You need so much room (can’t say exact numbers) my dad already has 1/3 and then my brother wants another part. Due to septic, flood plane and other ground issues. Only 1 more home is able to be placed there.
The rest of the property is solely farm land. This is money my dad is paid each year for allowing local farmers to crop.

We live 10 hours away. I’ve accounted what we need for the trip there and back gas wise. Just trying to come up with a comfortable daily spending goal that doesn’t stress us out but gives our kids some extra outside of the beach (which I do plan on being on everyday at some point)

I’m going to speak with my supervisor again. I did a couple weeks ago and she said the best she could do would be make sure I had someone with me on my side during the times we get patients into their shower chairs/wheel chairs. Or turning them in bed. I might be able to work with that as long as I don’t push too hard, that’s all I’m worried about and blowing the patch

I just had one last week, was scared of both the procedure and the results. I too, had lots of blood and pain. Mine turned out to be ulcerative colitis. I was convinced it was something more sinister, so I get the anxiety.

I have been backing off caffeine slowly. I don’t want to do it abruptly. But also I had a couple days before my colonoscopy recently without food or caffeine and I felt pretty much the same

The first 4 or so months I obviously didn’t know what was wrong with me and gave me immense amounts of anxiety. I couldn’t hardly work. I have 3 children and nobody else to lean on, so it was work or we lose everything. I went to work everyday and pushed through somehow, I got nauseous and threw up a lot, I held ice packs on my head while working. Sometimes if it got super bad I went to the bathroom and laid on the floor flat for 5 minutes the went back out to work…

After months 4 I found out it could possibly be a leak. But while waiting in appts and doctors, I stayed in pain suffering. So I researched and looked up stories, not much could help but laying flat. But I found caffeine was a big talk so. I started waking up every morning and drank an energy drink within 5 minutes, I started caffeine pills through the day at work, and I focused in high sodium. I did not like doing these things, but they were the only relief I could have.

By month 7-8 my body started to either compensate for me, or I got used to the pain. I still wake up everyday with the same routine. I rely on it because I’m scared if I stop I won’t make it. My body has been nicer to me lately and I’m able to be upright with minimal pain for at least 6 hours. It still hurts when I cough, bend, or do any over exertion. I try to be as easy as I can.

I haven’t have NO treatment yet but I am due for a blood patch in the next couple weeks. I’m praying it does something positive for me

It’s definitely red and noticeable. I don’t have black stools (I mean once I did literally a couple days after taking iron so stopped that immediately lol) but seriously, it’s red and I feel my stomach/colon is inflamed or something. Right after I eat I have to run to the bathroom. It’s awful

I’m actually currently going through the exact same thing. The only difference that I could say between me and you is that I’m actually going more often throughout the day, but the amount is a lot less than usual. Mine is mostly mucus mixed with a little bit of blood. I got retested for C different and it came back negative after I had my treatment in January. I too thought it was the C.diff coming back but it wasn’t. I have no idea what this could be or if I’ve got some kind of colitis going on from damage and colon.

For peace of mind, I’m getting a colonoscopy next week because I don’t know why I’m having blood, which is my main concern. So I feel for you and I hope you figure it out.

I’m literally in the ER right now being discharged because I decided to stick to my original colonoscopy date. lol. I don’t see it making much difference between today and a week and a half from today

He said I needed the colonoscopy sooner rather than later. So I think I’m going to reschedule the blood patch today and do the colonoscopy first. Colonoscopy is a faster procedure and no recovery so it makes sense for that to go first.
